A pointless change - much like most of the changes to the live shows these days...

A way to drag out the first half of the show, was kinda hoping the evicted housemate's telephone box was on wheels and wheeled away whilst the other housemate was stuck watching.

Yeah they must have been trying to drag it out to half an hour because it would been much easier to just have Emma announce the result normally
Yeah I think it was to just take up time so Emma didn't have to talk to the evictee for like 20 minutes.

Partial middle finger to the viewers.
Showing that they can screw up the eviction if they wanted, but then decided not to.
That or just pointless time killing.

Maybe it was to get steph and JEremy secluded from the other housemates so they get a good shot of them saying goodbye, with hopes of a passionate kiss.

Because they don't have much material to interview with.
"So did Steph stink your fingers out like she did the bathroom?" is about the gist of it.

it was extremely amateurish

They should've locked Steph's phonebooth door so she couldn't get out when Jeremy was leaving :fan:

I would've loved that. I can imagine her ranting in that cramped phone box like how she did in the Black Hole last week

Didn't you feel the tension as to whose phone was going to ring?
It was just a bit different and sort of tied in with the task...
