Former star of Dragons' Den Doug Richard has been found not guilty of child sex offences.

He had sex with a 13 year old girl he met off a 'seeking arrangement' website but claims he thought she was 17. He also paid her £60 which he says was not a payment for sex, but a 'gift' (as well as £120 for her travel expenses).
And he walks free. I can't help but wonder if the fact that he is a powerful business man, and former advisor to the current Prime Minister, has anything to do with that.

At least it's not 9 unlike a certain prophet.:hehe:

But yeah his basically got away with his crimes just because his rich and is a half Celebrity, he can basically pay the Judge and the Jury members off, and probably the girl too.

Difficult.
Why would a normal 13 year old be on a sugar daddy website?

What a brilliant point Smudgie - and one obviously overlooked by the rest of us.

I wouldn't have said there was anything that could be described as 'normal' about the whole sorry episode.
Am I surprised he got off? No.
