Yes,I love John,but I don't pay much creedence to polls tbh,because he's probably top of the least fave aswell.:laugh: but I really don't see why he is more disliked than some of them in there,he's a lovely man,I was hoping he would win,but,not sure he will,but whatever he has been a good housemate.:wavey:

Yeh the polls don't represent a very strong truth ....but I still think it reflects on his durability and people's interest in him....he's been consistently around the top end pretty much the whole time....I think he's a worthy contender and will do better than Darren....I hope so anyway

I think he showed a side that wasn't just Mr. Know It All and Mr. Perfect with the phone calls from his sister and husband. He was very emotional and showed he was human. That's enough for some. I still don't like him much though. I think a lot of what he's doing is fake to the max (not the reaction to the phone calls though.)

The calls from home spoke volumes about the people receiving them....only thing John wanted to know was that his mom was still ok....he certainly didn't think about a party for HIMSELF straight after hearing the news.
Calls from home showed us how mature Darren and John are and viewers who are also mature will see that....so of course it impacts on their votes.

John had tears in his eyes when Gemma spoke of her mother walking again....that shows how he has empathy and is a warm person....it also shows that he can be gullible but that's not his fault...she's extremely good at fooling people.

He also was the one who wanted to make sure that Steph was monitored on the phone to ensure Dani got to speak to her kids.

He is a nice guy....I like his intelligence and that is something in very short supply from some of the others, especially the girls.

I would imagine John didn't cry at his fathers funeral because he needed to hold it all together so he could be strong for his mom....is that really a concept so hard for people to understand ? Maybe John has spent so long looking after his dad when he was dying and so long looking after his mom since she became sick that he hasn't had the luxury of crying...maybe the pressure of that house and the awful ugly behaviour of Gemma Collins at the time was a trigger to all that pent up pain and grief....not hard to imagine that having spent the last 2 years trying to make the world a better place for the people in his life who were dying or were sick, he may have found the pleasure expressed by Gemma in wanting to make the world a worse place, was just the straw that broke the camels back....she should have felt ashamed but she didn't

John is a very decent bloke and has played a very good game in the house and is worthy of his position at the top of the tree on here today

He may well have appeal to wider audience too. Some of us know him from his acting roles, (not just eastenders) Also his life experiences, eg with his mother make him some one I could identify with. Yes hes got his flaws, and he makes mistakes, but to err is human. Hes also been a good housemate, whos got involved with all aspects of the Big brother experience, hasnt refused to take part in tasks, or made a big fuss about doing them. Has taken nominations/criticism on the chin, and just got on with it. Anyone who puts family before fame, is okay in my book. Would be very happy for John
to win.
By contrast Tiffany may have the loudest group of followers, but not necessarily the largest. Her appeal will lie largely with the devoted reality tv fans, someone else has already made the comparison with fans of One Direction, who will not tolerate any criticism of their 'chosen one', and could well be just trolling the other websites to put her at the top.

John has definitely deserved a place in the final. :cheer:

How ironic that no one has said this in the previous 3 weeks when Tiffany was top of the poll for no obvious reason......how very double standards that seems.....I'm sure you are correct about certain cheating and fixing taking place in BB this year, certainly surrounding the protection of Gemma, but even the wildest imagination couldn't think some one would take the time and energy to hack into this little forum to fix such a small popularity Chart.

I would be happy if John were to win. While he started off the panto villian, he was completely eclipsed by the Gemma and Daniella's evil stepsisters act.
