In the few series I've seen, the loud hm's get to the final, but the nice guy/girl usually wins. Now Darren (no mr interesting) hasn't put a foot wrong in the house.
However he's drifted out to 16/1 in the betting.
More regular viewers please tell me; is he still in with a chance to win?
I shall bet or not depending on your answers.

He could, yes, depends on the next couple of nights highlights, and who they choose to throw under a bus

I can see him coming second in the vein of other nice but unexciting housemates Audley Harrison and Abz

I will vote for him to win.
He may not have set the house alight but he's done nothing really wrong or offensive either.

I like the winners to be likeable and entertaining so I hope not.

Possibly, by process of elimination- for me each of the others have done or said things that have shown unsavoury parts of their characters, so wouldn't get my vote, whereas Darren is the only one who has shown himself to be a decent, honest and loyal person. His morals are good.

Darren hasn't been the most interesting character, but I couldn't vote for anyone whose morals I find questionable, and he is the only one left that I have any respect for, so my vote would have to go to him.

He has also seemed quite nervous, insecure and vulnerable at times, which makes him quite endearing, and he is somewhat of an underdog amongst all the big characters in there- the British public love an underdog.

The others have massive fan bases due to the programmes they are in, but I would imagine some of these fans might follow a number of these shows, so this might split the final vote, leaving Darren with a chance.

It might be worth looking at the favourite/least favourite polls on the homepage, as if a housemate comes high on both, there might be some tactical voting by some viewers to ensure that, even if their favourite doesn't win, their favourites biggest rivals don't either. So Darren might get extra votes through tactical voting.

You might get a better idea by asking who would get people's votes if their favourite doesn't win- if Darren is the housemate who comes up the most he might well have a chance.

Not a chance. I think he'll place third at best, behind Tiffany & Scotty T.

I thought so a couple of days ago but I can see him coming 5th
Facebook BB fans seem to have turned to team Steph so can see her getting top 4 and John was always gonna be top 4

..the thing that I have with Darren is that, no he's barely put a foot wrong but he's barely put a foot right either, he just hasn't put any feet and completely held back on any personality at all for me...as he said to Daniella (I think it was..)..'were here to change public perception' and I think he's been too aware of that and conscious of that all the way through, that he just hasn't given much of himself at all...he and Scotty would be my least deserving winners...

I'm not really sure who is going to win this one, Tiffany or Gemma is a horrified thought.

I think he could, hes got the likeability factor. He may pick up votes from the more casual viewers,as he is be better known to than some of the others, plus he may pick up the protest votes, for those who dont want others who have shown negative sides to their characters. I may throw him a few votes myself.:pipe:

Oh, I hope not. How can the most boring housemate in there win. Think about it...what has he provided as far as entertainment and drama?

After the first week, if he had disappeared, absolutely nothing would have changed in the house dynamics and no one would have even noticed.

Nice guy...but does not deserve a win.

Darren and Danniella have no mind of their own, no way should either of them win imo.

Darren however has a small chance at winning I feel.

He was great tonight...now the showmance has gone we are getting to see the others more.

Out of all of them he is my winner...not selfish...calm and not getting over involved. He is just being himself and not playing a game.
Scotty T has been the most boring and shallow HM in there.

It can't be forgiven how he wimped out of having a pop at john for the nomination, so no. Not really.

I think he has a shot even though he hasn't done much.

I would be happy with a John, Darren or Tiffany win at this point. :)
