I can see why Sainsburys wants the merge
to try to beat AsdaWalmart or Troubled Tesco.

Of Course any Argos near a Sainsbury will close
if the Deal goes through in the next 6 weeks or so.
Around 200 Argos would close, infact.

[Sainsbury's has agreed financial terms for a £1.3bn takeover
with Argos owner Home Retail Group.
the proposed cash and share deal comes after it was
revealed last month that an initial offer in November
had been rebuffed.]

I shop at Sainsburys
I do have a Waitrose card but I only pop in for the free coffee.

Sainsburys is my favourite supermarket, it has much better deals than Marks :suspect: or Waitrose,, most if my shopping is done there or Aldi, I loathe my local Tesco superstore

[Argos Owner Backs £1.4bn Sainsbury's Takeover

Home Retail Group backs a deal
which it is feared will see 200 stores
closed and transferred into
