I couldn't see if there was a thread for this already.

I went to see Skunk Anansie at the O2 forum in London, probably my all time favourite band but I've only seen them live once before (they'd split up by the time I got into them but I saw them when they reformed for their greatest hits tour about 5 years ago).

It was amazing as I expected but it was mainly new songs they played so I didn't enjoy it as much as their greatest hits tour because I couldn't sing along lol. Skin is the best frontwoman ever though, she's like 48 D: which is unbelievable, but she has the most amazing energy, and her voice is still incredible. I'd argue the case for her being the most underrated woman in the music industry.

Anyway, I give it 9.5/10 because even though they didn't play many songs that I know, the old ones that they did play were some of my all time favourites (Charlie Big Potato & Hedonism being my 2 favourite songs) and their new material is excellent, and they're just an incredible live act.

(The support act 'Bones' were also really good.)

Speaking of Skunk Anansie I used to work with a girl in London who went out with Skin for a bit

Best concert i was at was Pearl Jam, I saw them twice once in 1996 and once in 2010, I think I preferred the 2010 concert because Eddie Vedder was a bit more chatty with the audience although the 1996 concert was so good as it was my first time seeing them

Elton John about 10 years ago. It was at a football stadium and there was a well stocked bar. I got very drunk and it caused a massive row that lasted for about 10 years..

Coldplay in 2012 - so far it's the only concert I've been to as I failed to get tickets to one of their Ghost Stories shows  (though I have been to the X Factor final but I wouldn't really class that as a gig). The one that I went to though was amazing - the Xylobands that they gave out to the crowd were amazing (especially during Charlie Brown :flutter:). I'm hoping to get tickets to see them again in the summer - they're a brilliant live act.

Eh I think it was James Bay a few months ago? Not too sure now. Really want to go see more live music this year, really want to go to the Reading festival this year as I've never been to one before, it's the weekend after my 25th birthday and... now I live in Reading
