Oh god he's going to win isn't he :worry:

(but yay Bernie!)

I'm just terrified all the mudslinging and terrible bigotry and media-buyouts will hugely favour Trump vs. Bernie and he'll walk the actual election :(

Hillary will probably sweep the big states eg Florida, Texas, California but in the industrial states eg Michigan, Illinois, Ohio I hope Bernie gives her a run for her money.

well this has turned into an interesting campaign rather than the usual boring run in. The candidates are going to have to work to get their nominations.

Trump is a direct result of years of politicians who feared blame and were far too politically correct for their own good. People are sick of it and he is the result

Have a feeling that Trump might win this whole thing, and that will be the tipping of the metaphorical domino that leads to global destruction.

I wish I was joking.

There was a good article yesterday on the BBC website by PJ O'Rourke, about the American election.

The presidential race is in between Hillary and Bernie.

Trump's never going to get any traction with neutral voters, He's offended almost everyone and even the republicans are divided over him. The only reason he's doing well at the moment is because he's against an extraordinarily weak batch of republican candidates. The Democrats will slaughter him.

The sad thing is, people will vote for this brash, unpredictable man because they believe there’s an immigration problem and they really do need to sort out their employment problems which in turn will sort out the welfare problems.

If Trump was to win presidency of the US, he also wins an authoritarian takeover. When he promises to create ‘low wage full employment’ we need to understand how he intends to do that. We also need to understand that he’s a devout follower of the Neofascist ‘Michal Kalecki’ who’s idea of full employment was to remove all objections to employment and dictate who does what. Those jobs would then be policed under the threat of violence. Kalecki’s vision of full employment was a concentration camp environment for the lowly paid.

oh and he wants rid of any type of political protest and to promote vigil-anti violence towards anyone who doesn’t follow his doctrine and he wants to give police more authority to discipline its citizens. He wants to switch off globalization business and become a disemboweled nation because he’s a nationalist through and through

magnificent result for democracy...The ONLY 2 candidates that don't take donations from fatcat corporations, Bernie refuses , the Donald funds his own campaign out of his own pocket, so neither is beholdent to any special interests.
Hilary voted to bomb Iraq, shes a corporate lawyer for the massive corporations, shes funded by endless crooked corporations including the notorious goldman sachs, she tried to cover up Benghazi, the email scandal was ridiculous, she implied Obama may get assassinated in the 2008 democratic race, she was against gay marriage for years, was in favour of mass surveillance, she sent madeleine allbright onto the stage last week in iowa stating that any women that don't back women will go to hell
Hilary is even losing the feminist vote now, as Bernie is doing more for women, for workers, for the poor, for wages, hes also targeting corporations, Hilary meanwhile is getting paid £300,000 a speech...shes a nasty piece of work.
