I agree it wouldn't be the same without her.
Maybe the stress of getting so involved with the housemates antics and emotions will prove too much for her.

I also hope that taking on "Reborn in the USA" as well hasn't tired her out and taken her away from BB4.

I was under the impression Davina had already confirmed that she WOULD be doing BB4 (albeit this was before she announced she was pregnant again) - see THIS STORY (http://bigbrother.digitalspy.co.uk/displayarticle.php?id=3455) which was originally posted on the forum by McGinn.

I still have my fingers crossed that she'll be there in her rightful place when BB4 starts. :thumbs:

I don't know how true it is, but according to the Daily Star the other day, Kate Lawler is being put on standby to take over from Davina if necessary.

I'm informed Davina is signed up for BB4 and also "kate" is signed up as an understudy for her

dont like the idea of Kate but so pleased that divina is doing the show

Apparently Zoe Ball was Davina's understudy in BB2.

About Kate, I find it hard to believe that they will allow someone to take over presenting BB who doesn't have much experience in front of the camera.

And I always thought that the producers didn't want the previous contestants to be involved in the show.

Looks like Kate's starting on RI:SE tomorrow morning, James - got this synopsis from the C4 website for tomorrow's programme:
Kate Lawler and Iain Lee present the new look RI:SE with the help of reporter Dougie Anderson, former Capital Radio reporter Zora Suleman with news, sport and weather updates and comic duo Mel & Sue who take over the show for the last half hour. Broadcasting from its new panoramic glass studio in Queensway, London, the programme will feature celebrity interviews, newspaper reviews, entertainment news and outside broadcasts.
Don't think I'll be watching (not a morning person as you probably all know!) but would appreciate hearing if Kate does a good job. :thumbs:

I'll probably watch a bit of this tomorrow between 8.15 and 8.30 while I'm eating my Sugar Puffs before going off to work!

Shall be interesting to see how Kate comes across - I thought she didn't look too comfortable in front of the camera when she did Celebrity Extra.
