I don't think Matt himself is pursuing it but some of his fans have pointed the likeness out,I didn't realise how similar it was until I re-played it, I knew when I heard Ed Sheerans song that it sounded similar to something I had heard before and hey presto it was one of Matts, too underrated that guy.imo.

It's not Matt that is sueing it's the song writers,besides it doesn't matter who it is,he probably thought the same as you,heard the song and thought he could get away with it,imo Matt is just as talented as Ed,just Ed has had that lucky break.:hee:

Personally I see a similar style to the songs and styling of the songs but not a full copy.

It isn't Matt himself as Kazanne says but the songwriter pushing for this.

I like both actually myself and never really connected them before this to be fair.

No andy it's the songwriter that is sueing so doubt Matt will profit,but he is getting a hard time on twitter apparently,not his fault he just sang it,and I do know a lot of people said it sounded familiar a while ago,but it seems things have got serious as its made the national news now.it's a shame really as they both get on well.
