Big Brother Canada website updated + new public vote terms?

The website has been updated with a new cityscape theme, which could be a hint to the house theme. However, one account on Twitter has picked up on the fact that you no longer have to have a Canadian IP to participate in the viewer votes (which is BRILLIANT):

I don't think you needed a Canadian IP to vote in online stuff for the past 3 season though? It was just Live Feed which required you to be have a Canadian IP.

I remember voting regularly in Season 2 during the Canada's HOH without using a VPN, voting for the Have-Not power and evicting Pilar last year without using a VPN.

omg the 'public vote' part in the title made my heart skip a beat then D: but yeah I've voted in the online things every season thus far

Some people on Twitter pointing out that this may lend weight to the 'news' being that it's being broadcast outside of Canada (I really don't see how that's so 'massive' and important to Canadian's themselves though), but what if or as well as that, it's because the international houseguests rumour is true and so it's only fair that fans from their respective countries can participate? Or is that too much to hope for? :laugh:
