I could be wrong since I live in the US so I can't claim to be a Canada expert but I don't think the winners money gets taxed at all in Canada. If I am right then Jase or Nikki or Tim can win the prize fund without any legal trouble. That being said they are definitely being paid to go there on top of it.

That's what is being assumed, but I'm struggling to believe her or Tim would agree to a potential ten week stint. Jase yes because as in All Stars you're competing for the prize and it's more about that and the ~game~ and he'd be used to it, but I'd imagine they're all being paid and idk, I will just be amazed if there isn't more to this, that is a hell of a long time
