I have been ruthless, and taken lots to the charity shop. I have been known to take things only to buy them back

I used to be like this when i were younger, if i were going clubbing i had to have a new outfit, however at 40 i appreciate my new clothes and wear them to death, otherwise it's just a waste of money, my jeans i wear til they get holes in them, i have a prom style dress that i've worn once about 7 years ago, but that remains in my wardrobe until the time is right to bring it out again.
And i still have my wedding dress, cleaned and boxed up in the loft.

i just took a jumper off that i wear under a variety of fleeces and over my thermals and country shirt
I think I have had it on every day this year. its a blue cotton M&S one
i can wear a fleece for a week easily

I literally only wear like 5 items in my wardrobe, the other 300 items just hang there waiting to see the light of day :worry:

I tend to stick to like 30% of my clothes on a cycle and the rest get abandoned.
But I don't hold onto things I've grown out of or no longer want for years and years, I always bag things up and take them to the charity shop.

Oooooh, posts like this make me think.
I suppose I have like a unform, in the winter it will be a dress with a little black cardi and black pull ups for around the house...same in summer without the cardi and pull ups. Half a dozen dresses. Of so to ring the changes.
Going out will be similar but maybe a bit more dosh spent on the frock
Dresses in the wardrobe that have been bought on a whim and never worn yet...might never see the light of day.

let's all just admit it, we have tons of clothes we still think we will be able to fit in after we lose some weight... of course though, by the time we use the weight
but even if we do lose the weight the clothes are already so dated, and we never looked as good in them as we thought we did even when they were fashionable.
