8 people can join. First come first serve and we'll begin a draft as soon as 8 people sign up.

Basically you'll choose your team of 2 in a draft format. Out of the 8 people, an order to pick houseguests will be randomly drawn (I'll get the order from a random number generator).

The picks will go: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

The 2 that you pick will be your BBCAN4 players. You'll get points each week based on their comp wins & survival.

At the end of the season, whichever person that has the most total points between their 2 choices wins.

Post here ASAP if you want to join. If you do join, keep checking back as often as you can before/during the draft. If you take over 24 hours to make your pick, you will end up being skipped (but can still make your pick as soon as you can; the people after you will just have the opportunity to pick before you). This is to try to finish the draft before BBCAN4 starts.

There will be "Female International Player" and "Male International Player" available to pick.

Points add on to each other, so for example:

getting nominated but surviving the eviction = -1 + 2 = +1
getting nominated & evicted = -1 - 1 = -2
nominated, veto winner & survival = -1 + 3 + 2 = +4

The problem with only getting 1 each is that then this basically becomes a game where if you pick the winner you definitely win. This way it's still easily possible to pick the winner and still lose.

I would definitely consider doing 2 separate ones of these though.. I wouldn't mind that at all. Do you think we could get 8 more from here to join? I think this might be possible with how much interest this BBCAN season has gotten here. :joker:

I may warm to like her but at the moment she brought nothing to the table for me. Naeha had such charisma and a love for this game last year and was my instant favorite as the show started but not in intro videos, so i'm excited to see what's to come :)

That's interesting & something I never thought of. I never said we can't do trades so I don't see why not if he wants to do it. :D

Next season I'll announce this beforehand so we can possibly see some more trades. People can only trade both their picks for both of someone else's picks (either before/during/after the draft). I guess even 1 for 1 makes sense if people change their minds on someone after the draft / before the season starts.

This applies to this year's draft too but I think we could definitely see some trades before the draft next time.

But Sharry can win comps which gives you loads of points, I won last year because of Kevin mostly winning those comps. If i had someone like Pilar instead of Kevin. I wouldn't have won.

POC have a harder time on Big Brother. Statistics regarding who makes the end say it all. So of course strategically you're at a disadvantage if you pick a POC, especially a WOC (Only one has won in over 20 seasons of the US format). Tbh I think the only reason POC are 'statistically' worse is because they are casted much less. I don't think it's because they are inferior in ability in any way nor are they perceived differently (generally)... they have fewer opportunities to win or go far on any given season (because they are cast less), that's what those statistics boil down to IMO.

And I don't think that holds true when it comes to BBCAN anyway. POC and non-straight males/females have done pretty well despite there still being fewer of them than there are straight white males/females.

Exactly what I was thinking... And BBUK is public vote and isn't a strategy/ physical competitions game. Further, BBCan, while it hasn't been perfect, hasn't exactly perpetrated these same stereotypes...at least not in the same degree.

The reason for wanting a male/female team was because there sadly always is a some kind of gender divide in the house at some point and on that case you might want to have a member of both sexes to cover your basis.

Philippe was one of my choices (one of the very last though), because he seems quite athletic and might win comps.

OK time to begin the Part 2 Draft.

Two guidelines that are slightly different than Part 1:

1) To try to make this go quicker, there will be 12 hour time limits rather than 24. So if you don't pick within 12 hours of the person before you, you will be skipped. However, you can still make your pick at any point after your 12 hour limit but the other(s) after you will have the chance to pick before you once it reaches that point.

2) You CAN'T pick the same two people as someone in Part 1. So for example, if you pick Kelsey, then you can't pick Dallas with your second pick because those are the two people I have on my team already. No two teams between part 1 & 2 can have the same exact two. You'll have to take this into consideration and maybe think more strategically with your picks.
