How sad of that teacher he should be sacked for letting his personal beliefs interfere with the job and the hell he would have put that child through because he dislikes UKIP

Yeah, I'm highly suspicious of this, there's more to this story then what's being said. The police wouldn't send an officer out for someone visiting a UKIP site. It takes days for them to respond to a burglary, never mind a complaint that isn't an actual crime.

that being said though they're more likely to respond faster to a crime happening in a school because a lot of people could be affected, right?
If this is truthful and this is the only thing the police were called for then the teacher should be fired, fined for wasting police time and told that 999 isn't his hugbox.

The report clearly says, "Police said the contact with the teen was not solely sparked by accessing the Ukip website".
Regardless of why he was questioned, he was questioned about being a UKIP supporter and that's wrong. This is just going to be the first of many though because this is what comes from having the rights to spy on everyone.

Or did he write something to the UKIP site that could be deemed as enticing a hate crime?

He could've done actually, but would he be so stupid as to do that though as it's so easy to trace back to him with UKIP being a mainstream Political Party?
..it's hard to comment on these stories individually because there are things that we may not know but comparing it to the 10yr old who was questioned because he wrote 'terrorist' instead of 'terraced', there was a thought of better to be safe than sorry, so in that vein, it would be the same here.../that's not something that I personally believe in though/the better to be safe than sorry thing and I know many school staff who feel the same...I'm going to guess that they mean PREVENT as the 'specialist team' this was referred to, the same as the 10yr old boy...I think that this whole thing is in danger of breaching human rights and is getting that attention atm of doing so...these are children and in the care of their school and in that duty of care, anything that 'alarmed' would automatically be registered and reported no matter what it was and that's something that has always happened, I really don't see the specific need for 'PREVENT'...
...Dezzy said it takes days for responses to other things, we've had that as well over the years...things like burglaries etc/actual crimes that have taken place...but it's not just crimes, it's families in crisis and real need/families screaming out/children screaming out and actually hurting themselves or hurting others and sadly their voices are mute, the school voices screaming for them are mute..so many really are becoming totally abandoned and helpless...and yet, the speed of if it's a Muslim child/family or a child on a possible 'hate' website during the process of research....hmmmmm, it seems that the listening ears are very much attentive....
...it's probably easy to see that I'm not a big fan of 'PREVENT' and the focus of it atm...we would all be extremely vigilant of anything anyway with our children in school of anything that was disturbing in their behaviour or actions...

Extremism works both ways, the far right may be adopting similar radicalisation tactics to exploit young people to their ideology. I feel it's important to address this through PREVENT.
..it is not important to be addressed through PREVENT, it's important to be addressed through safeguarding, which it always has been and would be with the absence of PREVENT...what PREVENT is in danger of becoming is counter-productive with the active attention that it's receiving from human rights organisations because human rights/children's rights are being breached with the eagerness of many actions of both schools and the very 'special forces'...an eagerness which doesn't follow the same protocols of safeguarding and those protocols not breaching children's rights ...'hate' in any form, is not something that is a new thing with current terrorism and doesn't need special attention or privilege in schools ...because all 'hate' will be equally and should be equally dealt with, as it always has been and always will be...PREVENT is in danger of preventing all and every safeguarding issue to be treated and dealt with as they should be and need/of an equal status and severity and an equal procedure being followed...

There has been found to be a specific need in schools hence the PREVENT strategy being incorporated alongside regular safeguarding policies.

Fecking pain they are
..well I'm all for schools and I'm all for children and I'm all for children not being singled out in 'special' protocols, regardless of religions, culture or any political persuasions etc/not just all children having equal rights in learning but all children having equal rights..which is why, I'm all for the human rights organisations and their actions against PREVENT...
