It was just a retrospective trailer, I don't think they'll have all the regions included but you will be able to bring over Pokemon from the digital versions of Red,Blue and Yellow to the new games.

Bear is called Kiteruguma. It is described as cute yet deadly. It’s hug is dangerously strong and people in the Alola region regularly put warning signs out. It is Normal/Fighting with abilities Fluffy/Klutz

Deflated Pikachu-esque Pokémon is Mimikkyu. It is a Ghost/Fairy type with the ability Disguise and is said to lurk in the darkness. It is classified as bakenokawa (a veil hiding a monster) Pokémon. The body is black and the Pikachu-looking part is actually cloth-like and covers it from the sun. The article warns people about looking under its veil.

I think it's the 4 people with water, grass, fire and electric that are the kinda easy 4 on each island
Then the other 4 are the island leaders

They are - they're making it so that you can transfer your Pokemon from the yellow, red and blue downloads. It's rumoured that's how you access the Aloan forms

Yeah I'm torn about EXP share. In X & Y I used it so I could have about 3-4 teams of pokemon ( and choose which ones to use at each gym) but it made me feel less connected to them as in the earlier gens I would stick with the same 6 pokemon the whole way through)

Sun and Moon do more to refresh this ritual than any other pair of Pokémon games before them, all without ever disrupting the warm feeling of familiarity which the series - 20 years on - still manages to stir. The Hawaiian setting of Alola not only provides a sun-soaked step-change more different than any other game in the series, it also serves as a timely opportunity to reinvigorate Pokémon's well-worn gameplay and story.

The opening two hours of Sun and Moon evoke memories of games past, but also of Saturday mornings spent watching the Pokémon anime. Nowhere is this more evident than in the games' extended introduction sequence which is by far the most visual I've seen in the series to date. Without spoiling the story, I'll just say it involves a certain character who it has already become clear will play a big part of the game's overall plot. (Yes, Pokémon has a proper plot now.) It also kicks Sun and Moon's narrative into gear long before you choose your Starter Pokémon, while also setting out the games' stall for how accomplished the series now looks on Nintendo's handheld.

Only the strongest of Steenee are able to evolve. When this happens, the Steenee evolves with the blessing of other Steenee. It then uses its strength to protect the Bounsweet.

Tsareena is a high-kicking virtuoso. It has honed these skills beyond the level it achieved as a Steenee, and it attacks with graceful movements. At the same time, its fragrance mesmerizes its opponents, dealing them a secondary attack. Trop Kick is a move that only Tsareena can learn. It lowers an opponent’s Attack by showering it with blazing hot kicks in a style similar to that originating from tropical countries. It’s said that this Pokémon loses its strength if touched on the crown-like protuberance on its head.

Some Tsareena have the Queenly Majesty Ability, which no other Pokémon has previously had. The effects of Queenly Majesty are so intimidating that it prevents opponents from using priority moves.

Yeah I'm disappointed with a lot of the new pokemon and are gonna struggle with choosing 6 to be my team (probably will be first time I do not have more than 6 in my team). Also wondering why they didn't give some pokemon another evolution like the Koala (and an Anchor pokemon?? really? :joker:

I feel like that's all we're going to get. We had around the same amount for XY although the mega evolutions seemed more substantial than these alternate forms.

I think XY did a better job at fitting a lot of cool pokemon in the 75-80 that they added.
