Yeah, I tried to read that article but as soon as it described how she killed the baby I couldn't.

She must have been suffering from some sort of severe psychosis, although it's pretty much impossible to have sympathy for her due to the suffering she inflicted on the baby as well as the trauma to the other children in her care.
