FORMER EastEnders' star Rakhee Thakrar is being tipped as the next Doctor Who companion.
The actress, who won acclaim for her role as Shabnam Masood in the BBC soap, has been lined up for an audition with the show's producers, reports RadioTimes.com.
The 32-year-old's performance in EastEnders was nominated for the National Television Award for Best Serial Performance following a heartbreaking storyline that saw her deliver a stillborn baby.

I bet she's one of many actresses auditioning for the part and they've made this non-news about it.

If she gets the role she will be a great addition to the show
I'm afraid to say I'm not familiar with the the lady, but may I say jolly good luck to her in her future venture, I'm sure she's exceptionally good at her craft.

She played her role in EE perfectly the scenes after her stillbirth was some of the most emotional scenes Ibe ever seen
