Closest notable place for my surname (Bainbridge) is Barnard Castle, which is 18 miles from where I live.

My maiden name was Bristol area (my paternal grandparents came from Wales so close enough).
My married name is the Midlands, and my Maternal grandparents name is also the Midlands, and i live in the Midlands, so very accurate for me :hee:

My surname came up as most commonly from around the Bristol area which I thought was interesting, I knew it wasn't a Scottish surname but I didn't know whereabouts in England it actually originated - though they have where I'm from as a medium result so it wasn't too far off; and my other family names were all pinpointed to the part of Scotland those family members are from so all round pretty good!
