View Full Version : Should OFCOM be abolished????
who is it

The sooner Ofcrap is abolished the better. They actually let the loony PC brigade complain about every little damn thing that happens on the TV. The amount of complaints CBB/BB gets every bloody year is just stupid and undeserved.
If Ofcom was abolished, the people wouldn't be able to ruin our TV shows with all of these stupid and unnecessary complaints.

No.
Ofcom is necessary. But do they actually play on the people's every tiny complaint? No, so it's not a problem.
People like that will just complain directly to the programme makers, makes absolutely no difference to anything.

No that is a ludicrous idea. They are the only thing that stops channels abusing the crap out of the advertisment regulations.
They do a good job and without them i cant even imagine the invasion of privacy that would result from TV execs being given free reign.

Yes for these two reasons.
1. They never deal with anything that they should be dealing with.
2. People use them to complain about silly **** like "Salad Dodgers" in a Ladbrookes advertisement a few years ago.
