Aisleyne Horgan Wallace...

I finished reading the ghetto princesses book a few days ago and thought I'd share some information (some of which will probably be known already since it's been floating around since June 2006)...

- She was brought up by a punk mother - Boy George babysat her regularly. Her father was a drug user and was in and out of prison.
- She was bullied for being one of the only white girls at an all black school. One time she stood up to one of her bullies who happened to have a mentally ill cousin, the cousin battered Aisleyne almost to death with a sock full of snooker balls.
- When she was 16 Aisleyne left home after her mother converted to being a Jehovah's Witness and tried to prevent her from doing teenage like things like going out/meeting boys. Aisleyne tried to reconnect with her mother on several occassions, each time her mother told her to stay away from her. Her mother also changed the locks on their flat just hours after Aisleyne left. The book ends (at 2009 in Aisleyne's life) with her mother still refusing to talk to her. She stayed with her cousin and her uncle for a while before moving into her own hostel.
- Whilst living in the hostel Aisleyne made enemies with a group of girls who would invite boys over and have parties just outside Aisleyne's bedroom, and would have sex in Aisleyne's bathroom and leave condoms everywhere. When Aisleyne complained the girls got kicked out but Aisleyne was beaten up by the girls.
- A girl named Barbara randomly hated Aisleyne and threatened to slit Aisleyne's face open. She broke into Aisleyne's flat and regularly broke Aisleyne's belongings. Barbara disappeared after a while but Barbara later apologized to Aisleyne at a club years later.
- Aisleyne met a man called Daniel. He was very possessive and once nearly killed Aisleyne by throwing her from a roof. She managed to survive when people who lived in a flat below the roof pulled her into their flat through a window. When Aisleyne split up with Daniel, he beat her up and Aisleyne had to pull an emergency break on a train to get help.
- She met a man called Marc who basically run the gangster scene. He was heavily protective of her and she gained respect throughout the gangster scene for being 'Marc's girl'. Marc was paralyzed from the neck down in a drive by shooting and later died.
- Aisleyne moved her dad who had become rich for a while. Aisleyne clashed with her dad's girlfriend and Aisleyne moved back out of the house when she discovered her dad was using drugs again.
- She moved back into a hostel and the girls living in her hostel used to tip off gangs to break into Aisleyne's room to steal her things. People used to tip off the police about Aisleyne having weapons in her room and she would regularly be raided.
- She met a man called Curtis who also run the gangster scene. He was in and out of prison and he got Aisleyne pregnant. She miscarried and gave birth to a dead five and a half month baby on the bathroom floor of her flat. She had several more miscarriages. Curtis remained in prison throughout the entire time Aisleyne was in the Big Brother house too.
- Aisleyne began getting into promotions work and then when many other girls got onto the promotions scene - she got into glamour modelling as promotions was no longer highly paid like it used to be.
- Whilst at an event, Aisleyne met Mike Tyson and they began dating. He told her she was going to be a TV star when she had no aspirations of being on TV and instead wanted to work in fashion. They parted ways when Mike Tyson moved back to the USA...two weeks later Aisleyne auditioned for Big Brother 7.
- Aisleyne planned to audition for Big Brother 6 but was too busy sorting out her personal life. She auditioned for Big Brother 7 whilst still drunk from a night out and a woman in the toilets (that Aisleyne later realized was a member of the production team) called her a ghetto princess so Aisleyne played up to that role in her auditions.
- She didn't get through to the final group and went on holiday with her friends after Big Brother 7 launched. A man took pictures of Aisleyne sunbathing and later sold them to the press when she become a housemate. Aisleyne was called at the end of holiday and told she was actually in the final group of housemates but would be entering late. She flew back to the UK and entered the house.

The rest is history!

I'm watching BB 7 rt now...and She mentions her dad rescuing her from the hostel when she first goes in... But she makes it sound as if they are still good and he is her hero/saviour at the time she went into the house...

Doesn't exactly match the time line layed out above

She also said as of 2009 she kept in touch with Imogen, Michael (although not present day since they had the Judge Rinder thing), Nikki, Pete, Grace and Mikey. (She's civil with Grace but she says Grace is still bitchy towards her and they do have disputes)

And on the final day she didn't eat and drank all the alcohol she'd saved from her share that they'd been given throughout the last week in order to be drunk for the final evictions.

I remember Aisleyne saying in an interview shortly after BB7 ended that she'd never forgive Grace or something.

Someone needs to get them to reconcile tbh. I loved their friendship and when Lea stuck up for Aisleyne in the HND when all the others bar Imogen were ripping into her behind her back. Ironically, she seems to now be cool with the ones she hated in the house and vice versa.

And more on BB7 (she actually only talks about BB for a chapter)...

- Aisleyne took part in a guinea pig run of BB7 in March 2006 with Sam. Aisleyne went to bed early one night and the following day the rest of the guinea pig contestants evicted her and Sam won.
- During her fake eviction Aisleyne thought she was the most hated woman in Britain so when the production team member called her in through a side door when she was waiting to exit the house, Aisleyne thought that she was so hated that the production had decided to let her leave through a back door and meet Davina in the studio rather than let her face the crowd.
- When she entered the House Next Door they showed her the VTs of the housemates entering (Jonathon, Spiral, Michael, Jayne and Jennie) - she thought it was a production mistake at first but they all ended up entering.
- When Grace re-entered for 21 minutes Aisleyne was tempted to slap her, but thought better of it as she didn't want Grace looking back on her 21st birthday and remembering getting slapped by Aisleyne on national TV. (Aisleyne said this in the house though and I think it was aired)
- When Nikki re-entered she was shocked at how much Nikki hated her as she liked Nikki and pushed for her to be voted back in among the remaining housemates. She said Nikki chipped away at Aisleyne's confidence and gave everybody (Pete, Glyn, Richard and Jennie) the impression that they were adored by the public whilst giving them and Aisleyne the impression that Aisleyne was hated and was public enemy number one. Nikki also laughed at all of Aisleyne's finale outfits which resulted in Aisleyne dressing down for the final night.

Sorry there isn't more but she only spends like 15 pages on Big Brother.

And these are bits you'll probably know having watched BB7 or won't find that interesting but I'll post anyway-
- She had no idea she was entering with Sam, she thought she was the only one entering that night.
- She watched the launch at home before going on holiday. She told her friends she was glad she didn't get in (she auditioned with a friend Becky and production made them lie to each other about how far they were getting in the process) whilst on holiday - but when they called her at the end of her holiday to tell her she had made it onto the show she downed a bottle of champagne.
- Her chaperon Dan wouldn't tell her who was still in or anything like that. He took her to a salon the day she was going in which was for old people.
- She hated Sezer and he tried to intimidate her. She decided to put him in his place and picked out his faults such as his height to use against him, but he got evicted soon after anyway.
- She saw Susie as a mother figure and loved her - and she felt it was disrespectful and awful for the girls to be hating on Susie. She said the girls had been making Susie feel uncomfortable from the minute she arrived.
- The ex-hms turned Richard against Aisleyne in the House Next Door, and Nikki turned everyone else against her when she returned to the main house. Aisleyne said Pete grew distant and so did the others (this is evident in the show when Jennie and Glyn are shown watching Aisleyne innocently drunkenly do cart wheels on her own in the house whilst bitching about her and Jennie saying how irritating she is).

Of course, Aisleyne does not mention in the book when she was engaged to her gangster friend (Pre BB7) used to go around to local money demanding £5,000 protection money. Lovely girl, was Aisleyne!

But I didn't know most of these so it's interesting. Do you have anymore facts?

There is also something I found really cute (not about BB7) but on how her dad found her in the hostel. They had actually lived in the same area (Aisleyne and her dad) for years without realizing and one night Aisleyne and a friend went out clubbing. On the way home it was snowing and Aisleyne's friend drunkenly wrote her and Aisleyne's name in the snow on a car. A few hours later Aisleyne's dad passed and saw that the friend had misspelled Aisleyne's name and corrected it. (He knew it was Aisleyne as her name was unique) He then hired a private investigator who found Aisleyne shortly afterwards and he rescued her from the hostel.

-On the final day Aisleyne had major panic attacks and asked to leave by the back door. They didn't allow it. (This was shown in the final HLs though I think).
- She expected to go during Nikki's eviction and was stunned to survive.
- She expected to finish in 6th place but said that she was eventually disappointed by her 3rd place position as she expected to go further once she had made the top 3.
- In the week where it was her vs. Susie and they thought it was a real eviction, she decided to play up to the bitch role and tell everyone what she thought since she would be deemed a hypocrite if not. The 'know yourself little girl' when she called out Nikki for being boring and Nikki called her a bitch just slipped out her mouth but it's what many people remember her for.
- When she left the house many celebrities wanted to meet her including Amy Winehouse, the rapper Pras and Kanye West. (Ghetto Superstar is Pras' song and he told Aisleyne that everytime he typed in his song on Google, Aisleyne always came up because of her best bits and then when he watched clips of her he wanted to meet her).

One of the last chapters is kinda boring though as she randomly starts talking about all the footballers she's dated since leaving the house :laugh:

I was just about to say this! She was particularly horrid here and exaggerated Aisleyne's speech thing too much saying she cost him the win (which he doing himself by being around Nikki 24/7)

Yeah I remember that instance when she went and stared her down. Aisleyne got nervous doing a 'why Pete should win' speech during a task and her speech for Pete was shorter than everyone else's. Pete said he felt Aisleyne's speech may have ruined his chances but then told Aisleyne he didn't feel that way. Nikki did feel that way and then Aisleyne invited Pete into the kitchen to talk to him about it whilst she did milk. Nikki followed them and stared Aisleyne down before going to stand in between Aisleyne and Pete to like stop their conversation I think.

Interesting, given that spent a lot of time flirting with him in the house. The truth is that she thinks that she can ******* with any man's brain. She tried it with Sezer and failed. Of course, they never showed it in the highlights show.

For someone she hates, she certainly likes Sezer's friends though. The likes of Maria Fowler and Natalie Denning (I see she went to the opening of Natalie's bar in Marbella at the weekend), for example, were all close friends of Sezer's before Aisleyne came on the scene.

For example, you are going to hear Aisleyne going on about how she knows the Jensen Twins. But Sezer knows The Twins a lot better then she will ever do.
