Ahead of yesterday's PSG 1970 CL victory over Chelsea , Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hinted he wants to join the PL. Let's be honest he is not going to Bournemouth! If true then then the obvious fit would be Man U under Jose, however, he'd probably want to join a PL side that offers CL football next season (unless Man U win Europa can't see them coming 4th). So realistically as things stand that equates to

- Leicester
- Spurs
- Arsenal
- Man City
- West Ham (outside chance)

The thing is none of these seem feasible

Leicester City - haha, do me a favour, this is not even worth considering, as likely a Neymar joining Southampton. Sorry LCFC but despite the Sky TV money and Thai billionaire owners, his wages alone would rule this transfer out anyway
Spurs, again wage demands, Poch likes his players young and impressionable, growing squad, he won't want a mercurial volatile character like Zlatan rocking the boat. Plus I get the impression Harry Kane likes to be the main forward, and not play second fiddle
Arsenal, arguably spineless nicey wicey Arsenal probably need a driven character and born winner and leader like Zlatan, however Wenger upset him a decade ago when Zlatan was at Ajax by asking him to audition/trial for Arsenal , "Zlatan doesn't do auditions" was the rumoured angry response
Man City, another good fit, except Zlatan fell out with incoming manager Pep Guardiola at Barcelona and labelled him a "spineless worm". Also get the impression Zlatan doesn't forgive and forget easily and that Pep wants fresh new names coming in

So which club is most likely suitor for Zlatan?

Just looks like he's after one last big pay day.

If he'd have had any ambitions to make it in the toughest league in the World, then he would have come here in his prime.

Marcel Desailly, Didier Deschamps, Youri Djorkaeff, Ruud Gullit and others all did the same.

If he wants a pay day go to China surely. He'd get a third more than PL. If he wants £280k week here he'd get £400k in China.

Looks like it could be Chelsea

So he wants to join a London club

Palace , Watford, West Ham probably aren't big enough for him and won't meet his £150k a week demands.
Chelsea don't like giving contracts to 30 year olds. He's 34.
Think Poch wants a young up and comer to join Kane and his coterie of young Spurs players
Arsene Wenger is not liked by Zlatan due to the "audition" debacle, so rules out Arsenal

I know that they're not a London club, but they're just outside the City so I was wondering could he go to Southampton?

Even at 34 he'd be one of the top three strikers in the Premiership.

He looks better then he is because of the team he plays for

He will follow Jose to United and be the latest of our striking flops.

Yeah I can only really see him going to United.

He fits Jose's United, except he lives for CL and won't want see out his last 2 years without it. He also would want to complete his title winning collection with an EPL victory. Let's be honest even Jose can't work miracles. :laugh2:
