'Best' as in, not as awful as the rest. Here's a complete list of video game adaptations in case you've repressed your memories of them.

Mortal Kombat, Persona 3 and Silent Hill > the rest tbh.

Silent Hill > Resident Evil > Super Mario Bros

I think Doom was ok too, nothing spectacular but reasonable.

In a 100% ironic sense, almost the the point of parody, the Street Fighter movie was ****ing fantastic.

Let's not forget the freeze frame at the end when they all do their character's victory pose from the games.

Resident Evil is probably the most successful and it's pretty good.

I actually think they're OK zombie action films... They have very little resemblance to the games though other than some of the characters, and that really weird ones where they started randomly exploding with gold coins in a SERIOUSLY over-the-top nod to Resi 4.

I also quite enjoyed the computer animated Resi film, and also FFVII - Advent Children but I'm not sure those count as film adaptations of games. They're more just like... Hour+ long game cutscenes.

The coins weren't from the zombies in Afterlife, they were being stacked in guns as ammo.

Final Fantasy VII (when I was younger anyway) Doom was alright, Silent Hill I liked, and Resident Evil.

Silent Hill was the best, it felt true to the games, while changing enough to still be understandable to new people.

I'd say Resident Evil next, its not like the games, but I really enjoy those films, despite them being silly.

Only recall watching Silent Hill, some Mario Bros. film and the first Mortal Kombat...of those the only good one was Silent Hill

*clicks Dezzy's link*

Oh I didn't like Tomb Raider. And if Pokemon counts then I loved the first movie.

Yes I was forgetting Resident Evil. Actually I watched the films without realising it was first a video game.
