It's not sexist, it's just pointing out a fact and is giving an open space to appreciate the women who have experienced this grouping in Big Brother UK finales. If anything, it elicits sexism in the voting and casting allowing for there to be so many instances where only one female makes the final.

Sexism would not exist culturally speaking without centuries of women being oppressed in society throughout history. Men have not faced the same level of prejudice and discrimination that women have and continue to face, on the basis of their sex/gender.

No it can't be since sexism against men because it doesn't exist sweetie, men are not thought of the inferior sex (even though there should be no lower rank)

And stop the reaching domestic abuse is completely different.

Mess, this is not a sexist thread in any way and I don't think Pete(The Creator of this thread) intended to be sexist about it. Obviously Men can get receive sexism but this thread is 100% not, they would have been a male one but there hasn't been any finals where there's only been 1 male. If anyone is sexist it's the BBUK crowds etc (No shade to those from this site who has been in the crowd because we all pretty much hate the crowd)

I don't even think it's a sexist thread, and even if it was, I couldn't care less.

I'm just showing how stupid people look (and you all seem to agree that I look stupid) by shouting sexist whenever it suit's whatever agenda you're after.

I think the same of people, like what you're thinking of me right now, when they shout sexist for any reason.

So if you don't like it, then don't do it yourselves, it's not all about you, other people have feelings too.

Other people don't do that though. Here's the thread you mentioned.

There was a lot of sexism in that thread, it's only really the last page in which it stopped. It's nowhere near the same as you going into a random thread and claiming it's sexist because it highlights women. Your comparison doesn't make much sense.

Because this thread isn't sexist. It seems like you've read this thread and you've gone 'A THREAD ABOUT A WOMAN THAT ISN'T ALSO ABOUT A MAN?! SEXIST BITCHES!'

You aren't interested in equality, you're only interested in presenting men as some put upon victims when we aren't. We've got it good in this world.

I know this debate happened a couple of months ago and is irrelevant to the actual thread but I have to respond to this as it's one of my peeves. Men don't have it as good and easy as people like to say.

I watched a "What Would You Do" style experiment on YouTube where actors played out domestic violence scenarios in public to see how passers by would react and, of course, the large majority just ignored the scenario where the man was being abused by the girlfriend (one woman even did a fist pump and said later that she just assumed he deserved it). I wouldn't say being treated like your suffering is less important is "having it good". Both sexes are victims of unfair treatment in different ways.

But yeah, I don't see this thread as sexist, I think it's fair for it to be significant if someone ends up being the sole person of their sex in the final, I know if I was in BB and was the last guy at the end I'd be pretty proud (although areas of this forum do generally seem to have a predominantly pro-female slant).
