Shearer on MOTD2 about Pep G, suggesting that if City finish outside top 4 he will renege on City contract which has a CL spot clause. :hehe: Wondering if true....

Shearer has cheekily "speculated" on a lot of things that have come true, which suggests he knows stuff and is trying to subtlety hint that he knows.

I highly doubt they'd announce him as manager without it being confirmed and signed.

Even the lack of CL football would allow for pretty much a free Europa League title for them :laugh:

I agree with Shaun that if he's been announced then City will look a bit stupid if he doesnt start the season as their mananger. But the general consenus is that Pep is a three to four year manager so if theres no UEFA CL in his first season then that would be a big problem for him.
