I think it would be okay if you just put grass clippings in, egg boxes and shells, my mum had put wind fall apples in I think this might have attracted the rat :fist: put me right off, my sister in law did it and didn't realise she couldn't put cooked food in anyway the bin was surrounded by flies she had to get my bro to empty the lot :laugh3:
