Sharon Osbourne is set to return to the X Factor .
Well, that's if the latest rumours swirling around are to be believed.
The 63-year-old US star recently appeared in Who Shot Simon Cowell? , which was aired during Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway .
And some are saying the move confirmed that the pair are growing close again, meaning she could be in talks to get her old seat back.
"Simon and Sharon have always had a bit of a love/hate relationship. Her doing that maybe suggests they’re building bridges," a source told Radio Times.
Former judge and Simon's close pal Louis Walsh publicly backed Sharon for an X Factor comeback when asked about his "dream line-up" for the judging panel.
The Irish star admitted he'd like to see himself, Sharon, Simon and Nicole Scherzinger join forces on the show.
However, the decision lies in Simon's hands and it's thought that he is keen to see Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on the panel again.
It's also believed that the music mogul is interested in offering Rita Ora another contract, however, nothing has yet been confirmed.
Nick Grimshaw announced that he had quit the show earlier this year after just one series, meaning there is an empty seat on the panel - but does it have Sharon's name on it?
