Sue Hawk and Natalie Bolton are the only two that come to my mind. I know there are more but I just can't remember.

edit: Although I disliked her, Alicia Calaway shouting "excuse me?!" at Boston Rob was pretty funny.

idk, Brenda knowingly exploited Dawn's trauma about her teeth and basically said "k either humiliate yourself or admit you're a liar." It just seems unnecessarily harsh to me, especially considering Brenda was supposedly ~Caramoan's Sweetheart~ despite doing nothing to earn that title. That moment says more about Brenda than Dawn to me.

For me it was justifed.

Brenda asked Dawn wheter if she would quit or not in case she didnt find her teeth. She said she wouldnt quit so Brenda wanted her to prove it to her. She could've easily said no **** you brenda i am not doing it, she decided to do it anyways Brenda didnt force her to do it.

Dawn could've won survivor if she didnt cry every single second and owned up to her game and be a strong woman. Her game on paper is respectable and she could've argued she was the best player of the season. Her downfall was when she was crying and being paranoid that much to the point it was emotionally too much for other players. Brenda was there for her both game and emotional standpoint when everyone was like ew dawn is crying again. After she showed that care for her Dawn didnt even hesitate a second voting Brenda out and when she said she was hurt Dawn... SMILED at her face.

Brenda is not in her family, Dawn owes her nothing or to any of the players game wise. But after using people for emotional support if you dont show same respect.. then you have a ****ty social game.

Dawn HUGGED Eddie and said i am gonna miss you when they barely had any relationship and she laughed when she brutally backstabbed someone had been there for her.

For me thats why Dawn was as bad as a social player Russell was. They would've been both deserving winners if a) Russell respected people and actually got to know them as people b) Dawn was not a mess

Jury speeches typically don't do anything for me... Most of the time it'll either make me think someone's annoying or I just find these speeches kinda boring. And that's with both the jury & the finalists.

Out of the ones I saw here, Erik's speech in Samoa was pretty great even though I would've slightly preferred to see Russell win the season (not that the speech definitely influenced anything at all).

Also, Phillip during the entire FTC of Redemption Island was excellent though. :joker:

Oh don't get me wrong, in no way am I trying to say that Dawn was robbed. One of my friends summed it up perfectly a while ago in saying that Dawn played a great game for someone else, but she's way too nurturing and driven by her emotions and personal trauma to play a cutthroat game like she did. It's understandable why she went down this route if you look at her gameplan as a response to how she played in South Pacific and what her downfall was, but Dawn certainly doesn't have the ability to compartmentalize needed in playing a ruthless game like she did.

That being said, Brenda hounding Dawn into taking out her teeth and being completely aware of how difficult that would be for her is kind of gross and really lays to rest the idea of Brenda being the season's sweetheart. I just find Brenda to be up her own ass and holier than thou despite doing nothing to really deserve such a sense of moral superiority. Like, didn't Brenda move herself and Jeff Probst to tears about what a great, humble person she is without a hint of irony??? It's like sure, you may be great and humble and altruistic, but then as soon as your humility is tested you become spiteful as **** and want to humiliate someone in a public forum... that's not really a good look in my eyes! Especially when it amounts to "take out your teeth RIGHT NOW, even though there's no chance in hell you're going to get my vote, just because I want to see you suffer and humiliate yourself."

Yeah tbh, and I liked Brenda on both of her seasons and didn't like Dawn in either of hers but I still didn't care for that moment - if not disliked it. Pretty uncalled for.

Also, at the time I did think Brenda was really sweet - that's the edit she got - so her doing that to Dawn came out of nowhere for me. It matches more of what she was like in Nicaragua which I saw afterwards... not as sweet / more of an attitude but still very entertaining and likable IMO.

Brenda is interesting to me because she's kinda had two slightly different personalities in her seasons but I liked both versions a lot. :D

I'm sure I'd be pretty emotional and vengeful if someone I trusted snatched the potential million from right under my nose too. Bre saved Dawn from losing her end game money but Dawn didn't reciprocate

True she did have a reason to be mad at and vengeful towards Dawn. It's not like what she did (or made Dawn do) was really that bad either but it wasn't a very good moment to watch regardless... awkward more than anything else. :joker:

The whole teeth thing was nothing bad or serious, Brenda didn't force her to do it, Brenda gave her the choice to do it and she did. could have easily said no.

But tbh i would've been very brutal as well if i was in Brenda's place

The whole teeth thing was nothing bad or serious, Brenda didn't force her to do it, Brenda gave her the choice to do it and she did. could have easily said no.

It was pretty ****ing spiteful. Brenda actively created a scenario that combined all of Dawn's worst nightmares all rolled into one: being hated by someone she likes, being verbally tarnished in a public forum with a full audience, and having her insecurities about her appearance exposed for everyone to see. It was completely calculated and premeditated, and Brenda pretty much gleefully put Dawn in a catch-22 -- either humiliate yourself and take out your teeth or refuse to do so and get called a liar. I just think it's kind of scummy of Brenda to exploit all of Dawn's insecurities like that.

And no, I'm not saying that Brenda has no right to be upset. My main gripe is just that the way she went about airing her beef is completely contradictory of the character that she tried to put on, Humble Sweetheart Brenda who is actually so humble that she'll move herself to tears talking about her own humility! I think there's a huge difference between someone like Trish, who felt betrayed and was hurt and used her jury speech to let Tony know just how much her feelings her hurt and why, and someone like Brenda, who just wanted to embarrass and humiliate Dawn as some sort of payback. I don't think anyone faults Brenda for being upset and hurt, I just fault her for how she chose to use her jury question.
