I'm not convinced that he was actually asked tbh. He says that the producers were "in Australia in 2014", yet in a pre-season interview Erin has said that she only started to come up with the idea after the Big Brother producer conference last year (http://bigbrothercanada.globaltv.com/blog/2016-02-24-bbcan-producer-talks-casting-latest-twist). The stories just don't sync up.
