Sharon Osbourne has come out as bisexual during an appearance on US current affairs show The Talk.
During the programme, on which she serves as a regular panellist, the 63-year-old wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne admitted that she thinks that “everybody is gay – so am I.”
The former X Factor judge continued: “I am not a little bit gay. I am extremely interested in the fact of what I missed out on. But it is too late now.”
Osbourne also commented on Simon Cowell’s sexuality.
“He does have this very gay-ish – which I think is fabulous – air about him!”
Sharon and fellow ex-judge Louis Walsh are currently rumoured to be making a return to The X Factor later this year, following the confirmed departures of Nick Grimshaw and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini from the panel.

So, she's never actually acted on these bisexual feelings and Simon Cowell's a bit camp.
Does she have anything new to add? :hee:

Fair enough if she really is bi but it does come across like she's just after attention. Bisexuals have it hard enough as it is with people disbelieving them, and saying bisexuality doesn't exist, or making jokes about it etc without celebrities adding to the 'fad' aspect of it.

I wish she had chosen wording with some elegance... but I think what she is aiming to say is that her generation, before her generation, and up to the late 90's... when you were at an age to be explorative about who you were sexually... the option to think of same sex attraction was shunned, actively discouraged, and prosecutable by law to one point and by society for the rest of the time line.
I have said to my daughter, that when I was a pre-teen, and sex education classes were a new concept in the education system, we were told dreams and fantasies about the opposite sex were common, but didn't have foundation in reality... so squash them, and Sharon Osborn has more then a couple of decades on me in the age department, so, yes, I get her point. She is past that time where sexual curiosity and exploration can unveil a new path for herself, as a married woman and mother... but she is probably more aware today, in a society that is more open and honest about the realities of sexual attraction... that maybe her choices would have been different given other opportunities and circumstances.
And yes, she is a public figure on a show that loves a good "talk headline"... but I can see the honesty in what she is saying.

Plus her father doesn't look the type to accept homosexuality

Good point, and well said  It's easy to forget that people of her generation had such a different experience of stuff like this.

So she didn't actually come out then... :suspect: the quote in the article seems to suggest she's more open to the idea of people experimenting and exploring what they like, rather than her personally?
