Would you do it or are you fearful of what people would think?

I'm not really one for PDA, I don't even hold hands with my bf in public, so I wouldn't kiss him just anywhere.
But if I was familiar with the place and/or people or there wasn't really anyone around then a quick peck would be okay I guess.

I wouldn't do it in like the street or in front of complete randomers bc homophobia still exists sadly. But then pda is cringey anyway so

I hate PDAs in general but I'd be more self conscious if I was with a man than with a woman. I probably wouldn't be comfortable.

If I had a boyfriend (lol fat chance x) I wouldn't feel comfortable in a pub kissing my other half (but then I wouldn't start making out with them or making an absolute show of it). If I was in the gay village and stuff I'd obviously be fine with holding hands etc.
But yeah in general I don't care for affection being shown in public. When there are people on the bus proper eating each others faces off :yuk:

Depending on the location. If I was with anybody out and about, it would depend on the time and location and what's going on. I'm not big on PDA anyway.

I feel uncomfortable kissing anyone in public, regardless if they were same sex or not. Kissing is an intimate thing and should be done in private.

PDA should be banned full stop

I'm in two minds about it. I don't usually like PDA's when it's other people but I am guilty of doing it myself lol so I'm a bit of a hypocrite. I generally wouldn't do it in a place where I didn't feel 'safe' though, unless I was really really really drunk. I remember one time though I kissed a guy at the end of a date in a dodgy-ish area and while we were kissing, someone came up to us and offered us pills to 'make it better' lmao... it was so romantic :umm2: I can't remember ever experiencing any homophobia or abuse though so I don't think it's as much of a problem as sometimes gets suggested.

I would have thought the ability to look elsewhere would make PDAs a little bit of a non-issue. Don't see why it bothers so many. I voted for the democratic option because I'm sure there are some places I'd deem it inappropriate. Perhaps a funeral. Perhaps an operating room. Perhaps a sewer. Perhaps in a classroom.

No because it should be something private and if i kiss someone EVERYWHERE then our relationship is kind of like a showmance

Yeah same, I like a bit of PDA, not full on kissing but a peck or holding hands or affectionate PDAs, what's wrong with that?

I am not comfortable with kissing a gay man in public or holding his hand, nor would I want to do that to Neems Gav
SO i am unsure what box to tick

I'm very much up for it, even if people stare or make comments I just feel progressive as ****. There's probably some other gay person who would see you and think "Damn they're brave" and the more LGBT people do it, the less likely it's going to be an issue in the future.

Straight or Gay I am very awkward at speaking about sex at the best of times to my friends and family, so no I couldn't then go kissing my partner in front of strangers.
I know that it's weird, but I can't help it sadly.

why?
Because in this day and age, people still stare at and think it out of the ordinary.

I'm not gay so can't answer the question but if I saw any two people kissing in public it wouldn't phase me at all.
Tom4784
26-04-2016, 03:42 PM
why?
Because I don't feel safe.
Nobody bats an eyelid if I'm kissing a woman or if I'm walking down the road holding hands but the same doesn't apply to same sex relationships. I'd fear a violent response from onlookers for doing so.
