Danielle looked to be in shock. She really didn't seem to know what to say. I get the impression she is sorry for what she said.

It's a shame that the Shipla fans can't be as graceful in victory as Shipla herself. She forgave them for what they did.
We shouldn't forget what happened and we should learn by it. But we all have the power to forgive.

If Shilpa can forgive and forget then the persons involved should be given the same treatment. They have lost a lot for their actions. Its the mob mentality of this country that makes everyone bate for someones blood. Sooner or later everyone will calm down and except that this was something that those 3 girls will never do again. We need to learn from experience and gain strength from our behavior

I understand all that you are saying. But after 4 days Shilpa goes back to India. This is not going to affect her. Many asians are already facing the backlash of Shilpa winning.
My friend who works at the perfume shop, who is asian had to hear an earful load about "asians" in a bad way from customers. Shilpas' winning hasn't given a just reason enough for the "asians" who got offended by all that was said in the house to forget let alone forgive

Sorry to hear about you friend, behavior like that is totally unacceptable in this or any other modern society.
You must agree that by not forgiving them you are becoming just as bad as they were in the house. You are sinking to their level in that you are persecuting these people by generating bad feeling and hate towards them. I agree we can't forget what was done in the house, and it would be foolish to do so since just forgetting would not stop racial bullying, but sink to there level doesn't help stop this sort of behavior it just perpetrates it.
Isn't Shipla's approach the best, to forgive them and move on. To rise above it all with dignity and show these people how much better you are than they are. Not to sink to their level of behavior.
Racism is generated from hate and bad feeling towards someone of a different cultural background or racial group. From this we can concur that if this hate towards the housemates continues than it will increase and not decrease the racial tension.
What is need is a rational debate about the subject and better integration and understanding between different groups in our society.

So did Danielle get dumped or not?
Red Moon

She doesn't know. She hasn't talked to him yet.
She just said they have a lot to talk about after all that has gone on in the house.

and thats that then ?
Say sorry the day after, then off down to the studio, drop the blouse smile for the camera and cash the cheques, just like nothing happened ?
they carry out disgraceful and offensive behaviour over the course of days and days. people appear on Tv and excuse their behaviour while all us poor ordinary folk know that we could never get away with what they did if we tried that at work, then again all it takes to be "forgiven" apparently is to say you laugh when you get nervous - then say a sorry, then cash cheques while you explain it away and blame the drink, blame your naivety, blame your youth. though you are in your twenties and strip for a living - playing the child is seen as acceptable.
Remember, if bullying ever happens to someone in your family -the bully only has to have a nervous laugh and say sorry once, [until the next time - then repeat above]
There are good graces.
There is forgiveness and there is one born every minute.

Dont forget, Jade, Jo and Danielle are all 'celebrities' by the grace of the publics acceptance of their personality. None of them have a talent, none of them produce actual work, each one exploits our capitalist driven society using the media for financial gain and notoriety.
Now that they have shown their personalities to be of ABSOLUTE unacceptable nature, they MUST NOT be able to 'trade' on them anymore.

Danielle's "crying" on This Morning was very fake, she doesn't seem genuine to me, shes only upset that theres a chance she won't be able to use Teddy Sheringham's credit card anymore. I think it will be a disgrace if Jade, Jo and Danielle have careers after this, we've seen them for what they really are. Mean, nasty, spiteful bullies. People can forgive them if they want, I just think all 3 of them should just get off our TVs and disappear into obscurity where they belong

And also it was good to see her blame herself and not Jade or Jo
Even when Jade went to the papers, blaming Danielle
What a star:bigsmile:
Star???
Wouldn't go that far..

I agree, but it isn't them that has the control now, if they have careers after this it will be down to the public buying into them...
How their careers pan out after this will say more of our society than them themselves

Yeah I know, and if this happens I'll be worried about the state of today's society

I'm also worried by today's society too. A society in which we turn to extreme emotions such as hate to express our dislike of people we have never met. People might not want to do any physical harm to Danielle, but they do want to see her career and love life ruined. Well she has ruined her career in the short term that is clear from the reports in the press and her love life is on hold. And that doesn't seem enough for people they want more. This is the very ugly face of hate, the same sort of hate the girls seemed to display in the house.
Yes, Danielle deserves all she gets from the press for what she has done, but she doesn't deserved to be hated. Yes, I know she was guilty of hating Shilpa in the house, but if we set ourselves up to hate her then we are just as bad as she was.
As far as I understand it, in Islam as in many other regions, you cannot expect Allah’s forgiveness unless you also forgive those who do wrong to you. Forgiving each other, even forgiving one’s enemies is one of the most important Islamic teaching.
What I'm saying is by carrying on hating them we are being as bad as they were in the house.

I don't hate them, I dislike them. I don't wish them any physical harm or anything like that, I just think they should disappear out of the public eye for good, I think its only fair

I agree with this too...
That is why I couldn't understand why people were so annoyed that Jade did not get a crowd, they wanted to see with their own eyes for Jade to suffer, they felt they were being cheated for not seeing Jade tormented.

I think people were annoyed she didnt get a crowd because it seemed like big brother were giving her special treatment. Other housemates like Sezer and Grace had to go out to horrific receptions whereas Jade was favoured
