Jo O’ Meara is said to be devastated after the death of her agent yesterday.
Tony Fox (60) suffered a heart attack yesterday morning-two days after the former S- Club singer was evicted out of the Big Brother house.
The chain-smoking singer is said to be devastated at the loss and feels that she is partly to blame for his fatal heart attack.
O’Meara was embroiled in the Shilpa Shetty race row, which earned her a bad reputation out of the Big Brother house along with the inevitable demise of her career.
Jo is currently in a safe house after receiving death threats following her appearance on Big Brother.

See these childish selfish a*** holes parade around thinking they can treat people however they want because they live in a free country and they get protection from the good, but they forget about the people that they put stress on, that have to bear the brunt of the trouble they cause. What a terribly unfortunate event.

sadly it looks like Shilpa is doing the dirty on her uk agent to, read this over on digital spy but its quoted as coming from "the Indian times".....
"LONDON: Shilpa Shetty faces eviction from the Big Brother house on Friday along with four other nominated contestants, even as the British-Asian woman who served as her UK agent till now started a new controversy over the alleged money-grubbing tendencies of the actress's mother, off the back of the race controversy that hit the reality TV show.
Jasvir 'Jazz' Barton, Shetty's agent said mother Sunanda had ostensibly sacked her because "she wants to milk the controversy for money.
"She claimed Shetty's mother was likely to hurt her potentially glittering new UK career by trying to do deals for Shilpa "in an Indian fashion, which no one here understands."
Barton has claimed all along that she found Shetty a role in the current series of Celebrity Big Brother from amongst a host of Bollywood actors, "some of whom were bigger stars."She said Sunanda had "flown into London late on Wednesday for the ostensible reason that she needs to look after her daughter once she leaves the Big Brother house."
But Barton said she feared Sunanda had arrived in the UK mainly to "milk" Shetty's sudden celebrity fanciability, even as the Shilpa vs Jade Goody row continued to dominate coverage of the reality TV show.
Barton said Shetty's mother had unaccountably reneged on a "six-figure interview deal signed for Shilpa with a British tabloid newspaper only because she probably thinks she can get more money.
"Barton said she would be deeply unhappy if Sunanda appointed a white Briton to represent Shetty in the UK and worldwide because "I'm a British-Asian and have tried for eight years as a professional to put Bollywood on the map and get Indians the recognition they deserve."
Barton said she achieved this in spades with Shetty's entry into the Big Brother house but Sunanda may find the British media impossible to handle.
In a dark hint, sections of the British media may, piranha-like, be already preparing to turn on the Hindi film actress they have till now hailed as the epitome of beauty and dignity, Barton said she had been fielding repeated questions about Shetty and her family's alleged links to the underworld." interfering mother syndrome Shilpa?

It's been alleged that Shilpas family has ties to organised crime in India. If this article is true then those allegations suddenly seem much more believabel.

who'd be an agent eh? lol
Actually the underworld in India is always threating Bollywood celebs and are always looking to extort money from them. That case against the Shettys' has been dropped.
I actually read that Jazz is still a part of Shilpas team in the UK.
Sunanda is not the type of mother to control and milk her daughters fame. If that was the caase, she would have been shouting from rooftops about the racism/bullying, but she didn't.
And as a mother cant she not fly down to be in the coutnry where her daughter is the centre of media frenzy? And another reason will be to keep abreast of the goings on in the house, because India doesn't get CBB nor as much news/newspaper footage as we have in the UK in regards to CBB

i thought the "law" and the "underworld" are virtually the same thing in India, heard of plenty of tales of corrupt cops demanding money from european traveller's under duress.

She, basically, put the whole thing down to the fact that she didn't 'get along' - her words not mine - with Shilpa. I sat there slack jawed. So in Jo's twisted world, if we don't 'get along' with some one then we're allowed to, basically, torture them. You're not wrong when you say she's not perfect. It sounded more like she's completely screwed up.
Up to a certain extent, she was stitched up becasue Davina was much more easy on both Jade and Danielle but that cannot excuse the bile that she was spouting.
Do you not fear for her safety? She can't live in a bubble and at some point she has to reintegrate into the cummunity. How do you think people will react when they see her out and about. I genuinely fear there may be reprisals unless she starts apologising.

Reported in the Sun Online (http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,11049-2007040626,00.html)
Tony dealt with all the flak while Jo was in the house and she is terrified that is what caused his heart attack.”
Have we crossed a line that should not have been crossed?

Endemol cannot be blamed for this death. When Jo entered the house he was well aware of the implications of this.
Of course it's a very sad day, but there is no "blame" on this death.

Or perhaps it was because she was a conniving, evil witch and she wasn't actually invited because of the crowd issues?
 We'll never know.
Endemol cannot be blamed for the death, tragic though it is.
I think Jo was not there for the same reason that Jade and Jackiey weren't there, and why Danielle did not appear on BBBM.

No Sticks, I had a pet emu who died of starvation when i forgot to feed her cause I was writing a response to one of your ridiculous posts defending those indefensable idiots in the past few weeks. Her name was Linda, she was the first death from big brother, and you are the main culprit. I hope youre proud.

So anyone who posts a viewpoint at variance to yours is ridiculous.
Are those who have been in the house ridiculous because they have said there was no racism?
wrt Jo, I have commented about how she seemed to use the old maxim about attack being the best form of defence, but apart from that I have not put a defence for what she may or may not have done. I started my variant thread, now merged with another, because on the general point reality TV has been pushing the envelope more and more, and it is only a matter of time before there is some trajedy. Remember how they rubbed Big G's nose into the Helen and Paul affair by bringing in the dinners for two?
My question is has this day come, when the victim may have died as an indirect result.
Jo was absent last night, and this morning we learned her agent had died. Suppose you had been on the show and had not acted in the manner that for argument's sake Jo in your eyes did. You had been squeaky clean. Now suppose just before the final, your agent of long standing had died. Would you feel like appearing?
I just suggested a reason that this may have been a factor, it was not meant to be a total endorsement of Jo and what she is accused of doing.
I take on the role of the equivalent of a barrister or an attorney for housemates that experience periods of unpopularity, because of the hue and cry and lots of people dive in to rip them to shreds. In a real court a defendant is entitled to representation irriespective of who they are or what they are accused of
People forget the other maxim from time to time, "Let he who is without sin, throw the first stone" I am here to show that there may be an alternate viewpoint, and things may not be what they seem.
Why is that ridiculous?

Yeah well thats all well and good Sticky, but tell that to Linda's eggs. Who's going to come and sit on them eggs to keep em warm. Forgive me for assuming, but I fear your big wobbly bum would do more harm than good. You see what I mean. Things have a knock on effect. Jo was a bitch, so now you want to come and squash these poor eggs. Its not worth it Sticks, it really isnt lad.
