Swansea signing Fernando Llorente, back in his Bilbao days this would have been a huge signing for them, hopefully he can still do a good job
We have offered Senderos a one year deal, ffs the title challenge is over before it's even begun :joker:

As a spurs fan I'd of hoped for a little more activity. I know after last season we probably don't need to do much, but seeing the signings around us, if we are going to be competitive in all competitions we need one or two more in.
A centre back would be my priority, Poch says we don't need one, but 3 plus Carter-Vickers from the academy is not enough. Probably another creative player to rotate with the ones currently behind Kane & Janssen too.
I'd love to see us get shot of Trippier as I worry everytime he's in for Walker, I feel Yedlin is a much better RB but Poch seems to love Trippier, let's just hope that if we meet a european Giant in a champions league knockout that Walker is fit!!

That's rich coming from a City fan
You have an entire closet of players you brought for a massive fee then failed to improve/play.
John Stones will probably be the next one. A defender who can't defend & can't even get in his own crap national team.........

We gave Joe Hart the best season of his career, City just took what we did and have slowly bit by bit wrecked all the good work that we did for him.
And Shrewsbury of course deserve credit for finding him.

100m combined for Sterling and Stones is mental, Stones could become unreal though. Can't blame clubs for spending that much these days unfortunately because thats what the markets become. ****ing sucks as an Arsenal fan that it's become like that having a manager and owners that are stuck in 2005 and refuse to accept you have to pay that much for players now.

He likes the sales :hehe:He wont. Not unless iether we suffer a heavy defeat between now and the end of the window or a player at a big club suddenly becomes available. Gabirel is out for two months but I bet he still doesn't sign a defender. :bored:

If Arsenal pull off their plan in bringing Mustfi,Lacazette and Mahrez then they could be deadly.
I think they end up with Mustafi and Mahrez though. Will still be a good team though.
Cech
Bellerin
Kosch
Mustafi
Whoever
Xaka
Ramsay
Ozil
Mahrez
Giroud
Sanchez
With Sanchez as the striker and Giroud dropped for a mid in the tough games.

We never play 4-3-3 so that formation is not gonna happen and from what I understand Mahrez has no release clause and Leicester dont want to sell - understandably - so that deal would be a big one. Probably 40 million plus.
Mustafi might happen but not before Liverpool
Like that formation though. We'd look good playing those three in midfield.

It can work as a 4231 too tbf. I think Mahrez will be an Arsenal player by the end of the summer. For 41m it would be a steal too.

I hope you're right about Mahrez but I think it will be too expensive and I doubt Wenger will pay 40 million plus unless he has to. Mahrez is not featured in the Leicester promo outside their ground for the new season. Seems strange that Morgan, Vardy etc are included but the current player of the year is missing. I dont doubt Mahrez will leave and I hope he comes to Arsenal but I always worry about the clubs ambition so I'm not optimistic about us signing him.

Dunno about this. He will do well if he stays fit no matter where he goes so I'm not sure why he wont figure more for us. Especially when you consider that Flamini played more than 20 games for us last season
The squad needs freshening up but Im not sure Jack would have been the player I'd have picked out as needing experience on loan
Drew.

Jack and Chambers going out on loan, Gnabry probably on his way out, i don't know whether to be happy Jack and Chambers could get regular playing time or if this is the end of their time at Arsenal. As for Gnabry he should never be allowed to leave permanently. This is freeing up so much wages, enough for a new signing some might say
Brother Leon

Gnabry to Bayern. No nothing about him, but Arsenal fans were saying he is their Martial and really high on him. Strange.
Couldn't care less about the media's crazy obsession with transfers.
I like sport to be sport, not politics.
Football is played on a field, not a TV studio.
I don't buy none of their sensationalism, let's get on with the football.
And Sky sports news, live up to your name and report all sport, or if you're not willing to do that, then call the channel, Sky football news.
The media's obsession with the richest sport has destroyed the actual game.

Well well, Go on Jack
770957332427710464I hope he goes abroad. I think that if he stays fit he will be successful no matter where he goes so I'd rather not have to watch him, week in week out, at another premiership club. Said it a few times but Arsenal players did well in the Euros playing in slightly different ways to Arsenal. Maybe Jack goes somewhere else and decides he likes playing every week in the same position every game in the same position which, I think we'd agree, he isnt going to get at Arsenal. I would not blame him if he didnt want to come back TBH.

Sissoko to Spurs for £30m.
The fans love all that. It's like an ongoing soap-opera. It keeps the interest up.To be fair that's all football fans have now to get excited about, because look at the boring tripe that's being served up on the pitch, no tackling, and teams just passing side to side trying to break down eleven men behind the ball.
I feel sorry for all those hooked on this game, they're constantly told how great it is by the media, and most honest people will believe it. But in reality the number of exciting games is very, very little and most are just bore-fests.
