What phrases are used in your area that no one else has heard of?

Just as an example, someone on here said once (I think it was Locke) I could eat a fishcake, meaning he was hungry not that he actually wanted a fishcake, I had never heard that before

England has so many dialects and accents for such a small place. Look how they vary from say, Liverpool to manchester.

I dated a Scouse girl once and she always said "boss" a lot. Like "Look at that car, that's boss that is". Means good.

Yorkshire folk might say "ey up lad". Means how are you.

I like it.

I'm from the Black Country so our entire dialect is full of phrases you won't often hear elsewhere.
