I hate them so much and a panic if they come anywhere near me. Why can't they be more like Dragon Flies?

I feel sorry for them weirdly, I catch them and put them back outside, same with moths.

If I see a spider though I can't handle it, I have to physically see it put outside or killed :(

Crane flies aren't they? They have a very short life span poor things, I can't say they bother me that much though.

We have two types, opiliones which are not true spiders and can't bite and pholcids which are spiders and can bite but tend to be none agressive even when provoked.

The one in the op picture is a crane fly.

I'm terrified of anything with eight legs. We had a false widow on the boat last summer and even the dog wouldn't go near it.

I always feel sorry for daddy long legs, they are usually crashing into things and have missing legs...I try to put them outside before my cats see them.....they tend to go crazy trying to catch and eat them. Not scared of spiders or anything insecty......other than wasps....evil bastard things they are

I hate Mosquitoes because they eat me alive but I'm not scared of them like I am spiders...who can't actually do anything to me (or variety anyway) so irrational
