BBreakdown for Celeb bully Jo
SHAMED Big Brother star Jo O’Meara was last night being cared for by psychiatrists — after breaking down on TV.
The former S Club singer, 27, is receiving round-the-clock private medical care at her hotel hideaway.
She is too fragile to be moved to a specialist clinic.
Jo, who was branded a bully after rows in the BB house, shocked millions of viewers yesterday with a shambolic appearance on GMTV.
The shaking star said her life had been ruined by allegations of racist bullying towards Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty.
She admitted she has been unable to return to her Essex home after receiving three death threats.
Jo was being treated at a country hotel last night. Advisers had thought about moving her to the Priory clinic in South West London, but a source said: “Jo is in no state to go anywhere. She has round-the-clock doctors, psychiatrists and nurses to care for her. We are very worried — she’s absolutely broken.”
The Duchess of York yesterday offered her support to Jo after seeing her crumble on GMTV.
Fergie said: “I know what it’s like to be vilified. She is a broken girl. She should be removed from the stocks.”
And fellow BB housemate Jermaine Jackson, 52, also offered to help Jo — by giving her one of his songs to relaunch her career.
He said: “I told her I have a song I wanted to present to her. I’m going to do it.”
During the GMTV interview Jo sobbed as she claimed her behaviour towards Shilpa, 31, had been “taken out of context”.
She slammed Channel 4 bosses, saying the show had “ruined my life”. She added: “I don’t think I bullied Shilpa. Everybody makes mistakes but not everybody does it on TV.”
Jo said she only took part in BB because her home was under threat of repossession and she needed the cash.

To be honest I don't really have any sympathy for the girl, she bought in all on herself, and doesn't seem sorry for what she did.

Celebrity? that term is very loose when it comes to CBB!
I like the way the report misses the complete line where it says "I apologise"
I watched the interview and I never saw her say "I apologise.":puzzled:

Get real will you. She said she went on BIG BROTHER for the money to save her house. Fulled by greed. If my house was going to be under threat of repossession I would be depressed too. Infact, millions people will be depressed.

Becuase Danielle hasn't had a 'breakdown' doesn't mean that she hasn't been effected by this.

I really feel sorry for her. She's been destroyed from a silly little TV show. Just picture yourself in her shoes.

While I don't want anybody's life to be ruined in the name of entertainment, I'm not convinced by Jo's 'breakdown'. She is STILL saying editing is to blame. Well...we all know BB is edited, but they can only work with what's there in the first place.
She doesn't deserve death threats, she doesn't deserve to be scared to go home - but she certainly doesn't deserve praise or profit from the way she's behaved.

I hope shes okay.. this would never have happened if the whole Shilpa/Jade thing was over exagerated. Danielle, Jo AND Jade have done nothing wrong and wern't racist at all.

I think what Ruth means is, she actually doesn't deserve any profit from her behaviour - exactly what she said. Not that she's getting any.
From my point of view, I dislike Jo very much - I was a huge fan of S Club but she just ruined my view of her completely. The constant smoking, badmouthing, lounging about and never helping out with anything, constant bitter bitchiness, and now her complete denial - it really isn't what I expected. I know nobody's perfect, but she should at least take responsibility for her actions.
However, saying all that, I feel bad that she's in the state she is now -what we should really concentrate on is removing her from the media spotlight, and simply let her rebuild her life!

if i was in her shoes in that house, i would not have acted the fool! i wouldnt have been in her situation. what would you have done "in her shoes"? as ice maiden said, look at all the stuff she was doing in the house, so now look at the outcome - what do you expect? i would have respect for her IF she showed respect.

So what you're saying is, racism is bad (agreed), but bullying is fine?
