What do you think about this?
I have just cancelled my subscription and gone over to Amazon instant video which is still £5.99.It's not that i can't afford it.I just begrudge paying an extra £1.50 a month for the same crap.I've seen most of the good stuff and am not pant wettingly excited for the new stuff to come.
From what i've seen Amazon looks decent and its a nice fresh new list of tv and movies after i got bored with Netflix's selection.Plus i think the new Clarkson Top Gear-esque show is coming to Amazon as i refuse to watch Top Gear without Jezza and co.

I don't use either but I would refuse to watch any show that racist violent arse hole Jeremy Clarkson is in anyway. Chris and Matt FTW :hee:

There's still a 5.99 tariff. Just don't get HD programming I believe.

With the HD content they provide I'm not bothered by the increase. Although it's a kick in the teeth to those who used US Netflix.

Oh. I think it depends how long you've been a member.
Existing members have kept the lower cost and newer users charged more.

Existing members have kept the lower cost and newer users charged more.I see. Havent really watched it much since they stopped us using Netflix USA in this country but it does look like I wont be affected by the price increase.

Well i've always paid £5.99 with HD content included.Got an email today saying it was going up to £7.49.
I saw no reason to pay an extra £1.50 for stuff i'm already watching(and getting a little bored with). So i'm gonna give Amazon a try until their prices go up higher than Netflix.
Jack.
