Sign in box has disappeared for me?

So you know I was saying that I had to constantly keep logging in which Josy said was probably because I'd eaten my cookies or something?
Well, now the sign in box at the top of the screen has disappeared and the only way I can log in is by either clicking on create new thread or post reply? It's on both my iPad and my phone?
