16. BIG BROTHER 13
Unlucky number 13, indeed. Big Brother's 2012 series didn't make us angry, exactly… but then it didn't really make us feel much of anything. The series chugged along without many memorably moments - and the housemates we do remember were pretty unlikeable people (like Conor, whose behaviour towards Deana was outrageous - before he infuriatingly won £50,000 in the 'White Room' task). There was the odd upside, and Luke A was a 'perfectly nice' winner, but there really just wasn't much to this series.

8. BIG BROTHER 4
Big Brother 4 is widely scoffed at and considered boring - that seems slightly unfair now, looking back. Of course, it wasn't exactly as adrenaline-fuelled or conflict-driven as later series - it was a lot of people sitting about reading books, from what we remember - but it certainly had its moments. From Lisa promising that she could kill people with "these two fingers" to Ray's private moment in the toilet (ahem), there are plenty of bits that we still remember to this day. Heck, Cameron even swapped with a housemate from South Africa - what a thing to pull off. Plus: Jon Tickle. He genuinely introduced us to 'Hotel California' when he was watering the veg patch. So there you go.

They could have just left the BB4 write up at that. I mean the fact that they have Ray masturbating in the toilet as a top 2 moment of the series says it all really... (as well as the fact that the other moment involved someone who the producers didn't even pick to be part of the cast, until they realised what a bomb the series was)

The description of it is spot on, there aren't any memorable moments and it was, at times, infuriating to watch. However I don't think these are good enough reasons to place it as the worst series, especially behind BB15 and BB16, anyway.

BB13 was gruelling and very little fun to watch. It was, however, utterly fascinating as a psychological experiment which for me made it compelling viewing. I'd vote it as one of my top series, genuinely. Anything after BB13 I find totally unwatchable.

It's not a very controversial list. :shrug: All that list says is that Big Brother was better on Channel 4, and also that the early series were the best.

What put me off BB13 was that they allowed the HMs to discuss nominations at the start, and that dominated the highlights. I liked BB12 on C5 the best, just really because of the housemates.

It is controversial for most as most of us do not think BB13 was the worst series ever, nor was BB12 the best C5 series, or that BB6 and BB7 are not top 5 series (or that BB4 is better than 8 other series)
