Last night I was watching the Listening Post on English Al Jazeera, its about the World Media and how its going on.

They were looking into what was going on in the UK media and, suprise, suprise Big Brother.

Al Jazeera said, Endemol was asked by the Goverment, to see if they can open up an Indian BB, to create a bridge between the two cultures.

They said that Shilpa Shetty on the UK BB would be the perfect marketing campaign for the Indian BB.

Except it went all wrong with the racism, and when it did, the Government went all the way to India to say sorry (Gordon Brown).

As for the media blowing it out or Proportion, it's becuase media companies, i.e. Rupert Murdoch want to buy Endemol, using the racism to give BB alot of World Attention before the purchase.

There you go, see how shilpa-shetty-racial-tension on this forum as gone up just becuase no one knows the truth behind it.

Gordon Brown was already in India - he didn't go there specifically to apologise.

No, he flew in, whilst the racism was brewing up. He went to talk about politics, and mentioned BB to the Indian Media

Yeah, what I meant was, that in your original post it looked as though you were saying that Gordon Brown only went to India to apologise, when in fact he was going there anyway.
