Shilpa to met the Queen and Blair

Shilpa Shetty has been invited to meet the Queen and Tony Blair, following her victory in Celebrity Big Brother.

The Bollywood actress will attend a reception with the Queen on March 12 at Marlborough House, and she will visit Blair at the House of Commons next week.

Shetty admitted she was delighted to be invited: "It's a huge honour," she commented. "I am humbled.

"The row (during the show) has been politicised but why wouldn't I want to meet Tony Blair?" she continued. "I would meet with anyone who wants to meet me and who has shown solidarity."

I just found that out in a newspaper in fact - think it was the Daily Express.
But yeah, good for her! She really is becoming more and more well known and is truly on her way to becoming a bigger star here as well hopefully! :bigsmile:
