8 people can join. First come first serve. If we get 16 people before the start then we can either do a bigger 16 person draft or two separate 8 person drafts. I'll figure it out if that happens. As of right now it's 8 to join.

Basically you'll choose your team of 2 in a draft format. Out of the 8 people, an order to pick houseguests will be randomly drawn (I'll get the order from a random number generator).

The picks will go: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

The 2 that you pick will be your BBUS18 players. You'll get points each week based on their comp wins & survival.

At the end of the season, the winner will be the person that has the most total points between their 2 choices.

Post here ASAP if you want to join. If you do join, keep checking back as often as you can when the draft begins (some time shortly after the cast reveal). If you take over 24 hours to make your pick, you will end up being skipped (but can still make your pick as soon as you can; the people after you will just have the opportunity to pick before you).

I'll start the signing up process early so that there's more time to see how many people are interested before the cast reveal.

Points add on to each other, so for example:

getting nominated but surviving the eviction = -1 + 2 = +1

Less complicated than having 2 drafts at once and kinda bigger stakes being one huge draft. Depends on what everyone thinks though. We could do two separate drafts of 8.

Say there's a 16 person cast (should be... if there's more or less then some changes will have to be made)... There would be 2 of each houseguest so 32 total choices to pick from. Obviously you can't pick the same person twice and also I would keep the rule that you can't pick the same exact 2 people as someone else did.

There should be 4 returning houseguests this season and while there are rumors of who those are, I don't think any are confirmed at all. Therefore, if you choose "Returning Houseguest" that means you will make that pick after the returnees are officially revealed (probably on the premiere). It'll probably be another 12-hour time limit per pick.

Btw all these competitions will count as a "twist victory" or same amount as a veto win (+3).

The first comp will count as that as well for the winning team (+3) AND as a have-not competition win (+1) only for the first place winning team. Luxury prize / money giveaway win (+1) will be given to each member of the second place team.

Yeah, i think based on the points chart in the first page, Victor should get 5 points for winning the return comp.

It was +1 for each individual competition. +5 for the return win. +2 for surviving eviction.

Here's the first update:

Evicted houseguests have a chance to return though. Each individual competition will count for +1 and the returnee winner gets the +5.

I won't be updating this for a bit because I'll be on a small vacation for the next few days and haven't gotten around to it yet. I'll still be checking in a little bit I think but I won't be updating this until after.


Also, there's a bit of a dilemma that I didn't previously think of... should Paul get +3 for a twist victory for having the round trip ticket or should it be voided since it didn't come into play?

Since I never specified beforehand I think it's unfair to make a decision on this myself. I'm going to decide based on whatever the majority wants over the next couple days. So everyone who sees this should give their opinion (and don't just say yes/no based on whether you have Paul or not :p). I'll make the decision in case of a tie.

Finally watched the recap. Here's the results from it:

- I'm not counting that first comp they did where they popped a balloon for a cash prize (because every person won and all they did was keep throwing the dart until they got one)

- The Jessie Godderz dunk competition counts as a luxury prize comp so: Victor +1

- Have-Not comp winners: Natalie +1, Paul +1, Nicole +1, Corey +1

- Advantage in HOH: Michelle +3 (I guess I count it as a twist victory as there's nothing else this would fall under)

No I most likely won't do it for BB OTT tbh. Just due to a combination of not knowing exactly how it'll work and being busy / possibly not even watching this season until afterwards. It's really not that time consuming just really annoying to catch up on if I fall behind. (or I wouldn't be able to do it if I decide to not watch it at all)

If someone else wants to run it with either this scoring or even their own variation of it then I'm ok with it and would probably join.

It'll definitely be back for BBCAN5 though. :dance:
