This is not normal
Is this the alleged global warming :conf:
How long before the hosepipe bans ?
How long before we have to go to standpipes in the street like we had to in 1976 ?
What about all that skin cancer and sun burn.
Looks like I will be hiding from the world this Easter :bawling:

Good old Sticks - always reliable for the down side on a astory. I thought you might mntion that the good weather ' won't last'!!!
By the way - novice type question, I know, how do you put your photos in Steve. Can I insert stuff I've taken on my digital camera (Getting better on it!)
:conf::conf::conf::conf:
When you make a post you'll see a browse button at the bottom, this allows you to find an image on your hard disk and 'attach' it.

How can you make them smaller - another beginner's question!

17-04-2003, 10:51 PM
Is it me or do I need new glasses, it's a bit blared blinkin. To make them smaller you'll have to crop them down a bit before posting, if when you took the photo you camera was sent on the fullest picture size, it will come out that size, I think unless anyone else knows different.

It was cooler this morning, and the sky looked it was going to drop.
Now we are back to torrential sunshine.
Why is "good" weather deemed to be sunny and dry. With the Heath fires out of control, heavy rain could be seen as "good Weather"
Well personally Sticks I love the sunshine and the hotter weather and I wasn't very pleased this morning to wake up to cloudy skies again.
BRING BACK THE SUN.

Never mind Sticks, they've predicted heavy showers and hail stones. So you'll be able to come out now from hiding.

We have had rain here today :hello::colour:
The sky is grey
No sign of that horrible sunshine
with any luck the impending drought could be delayed
Who wants that sunshine anyway, itjust causes skin cancer and makes you hot and bothered when you are stuck inside all day in the office

I'll tell you what's happened:-
I spent a lot of money getting a new back gate built and fitted for me, all I had to do was "Cuprinol" it.
It has rained ever since it was put up and I'm only half way through weather-proofing it!
I apologise to everyone for being a jinx!
