IT’S been nearly a week since the last of the Celebrity Big Brother housemates left the show but the controversy surrounding the series won't go away.

So just what have the celebrities been up to since they got their freedom back?

The Sun presents a handy guide to the housemates’ run-ins with cops, rehab centres and the media.

Shilpa Shetty

The winner of the show and the big winner since she left. Signed media deals with a newspaper and a magazine, pulling in over £100,000. Also gave a big money interview to Sky in which she slated Jade Goody as “aggressive, mannerless and obnoxious.” Her new UK agent Max Clifford says she has been inundated with offers, including hosting a cricket reality show. Shilpa continues to have public sympathy following her bullying ordeal in the house and is set to make a fortune.

Jermaine Jackson

Came second in the show, picking up public support when he stepped into the row between Shilpa and Jade. He is currently working on a UK-based stage version of the Jackson Five story and will launch an anti-bullying campaign in Devon next week.

Dirk Benedict

The former A-Team actor has kept a relatively low profile since leaving the house in third place but was spotted at the show’s wrap party this week. He is set to be questioned by cops investigating the show’s race row after he allegedly said Indians were “taking over” Britain. Following his stint on the show, his autobiography Confessions of a Kamikaze Cowboy – originally published in 1987 - has shot back into the best-seller list.

Ian ‘H’ Watkins

Since leaving the show in fourth place on Sunday night, H has appeared on This Morning and The Friday Night Project. His agent told The Sun the former Steps star was looking to get back into theatre after appearing in Joseph And His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat last year and is currently considering “numerous” offers to appear in productions in the West End and nationwide.

Danielle Lloyd

The highest placed of the three house ‘bullies’, Danielle has been battling to regain her public image since she left the show. Has already lost a number of modelling contracts and has been dumped by boyfriend Teddy Sheringham. On Thursday she met cops voluntarily as a witness to the race row.

Jack Tweed

Has kept a low profile since leaving the house. Finally met up with girlfriend Jade at The Priory clinic.

Cleo Rocos

Cleo was seen at the wrap party but has kept a low-profile since. Is managed by the same agent who looks after Davina McCall and Jade Goody.

Jo O’Meara

Has had a rough time since leaving the house, claiming her “life has been ruined" by the show. Says she has received death threats and is scared to go home. Gave a tearful interview to GMTV which prompted the Duchess of York to call-in to give her support. Says she only went on the show to raise money to save her house and now bitterly regrets it. Was booked to play the G-A-Y club but it looks unlikely it will go ahead after promoter Jeremy Joseph asked revellers to vote if they wanted to see her. Jermaine says he has written her a song but whether she will ever get the chance to record it looks unlikely.

Jade Goody

The housemate who has lost the most from her time on the show following her alleged racist bullying of Shilpa. Her perfume has been removed from shops, a paperback version of her book has been scrapped and Living TV say they have no plans to work with her again. Her agent has admitted she has no more work lined up and Jade herself is currently holed up in The Priory rehab clinic being treated for depression. Windows at her home have also been smashed and Jade says she has been living in hotels. She has undertaken newspaper, magazine and TV interviews – for which she didn’t get paid – to say sorry while a trip to India to do the same is still planned.

Carole Malone

The newspaper columnist has gone back to her job and has been making mileage out of the antics of the housemates. Admitted to Cleo on the show that she had only taken part as she wanted to get into TV.

Jackiey Budden

Jade’s mum was the first housemate to be properly evicted. When the race row flared up she was hounded from her home after being threatened and is now in hiding.

Leo Sayer

Hilariously left the house over dirty pants and came out to face tabloid stories that his partner had slept with Donny. Has made a few TV appearances since leaving.

Ken Russell

Was the second to walk after the Goodys entered the house. The 80-year-old looked frail when he appeared on the post-final Big Brother’s Big Mouth. Entered the race row when he told the BBC that Jade and co were “guttersnipes.”

Donny Tourette

Has been a regular on the showbiz scene since jumping over a wall to be the first to leave the house. Has reportedly been dumped by on-off girlfriend Peaches Geldof and is still gigging with his band Towers of London.
