What do you think the official outcome will be? Who will win? And by how much?
I would love to see Leave win but my prediction: Remain will win 53 to 47%.

Leave will win unfortunately.
52-54%.

The British people have a great propensity for the truth, and among the 'educated and informed' citizens in the UK, the great majority want out of the failed and corrupt EU.
Yet - just as the top 1% of the wealthiest families in this country possess the same wealth as the bottom 55% of the poorest families, and therefore have a monopoly on real power - the minority 'Establishment' own and/or control the propaganda machine - BBC, ONS, FT, CBI, etc, etc. and NEVER before has this machine been utilised with such perverse efficiency against the uninformed and confused masses who hold 'the balance of power' in this Referendum but do not know which side to vote for, and it 'is for for this reason - and this reason alone - that I believe the Establishment will 'win' this Referendum and the 'Status Quo' will be preserved.
Such as been the ferocity of Cameron's 'War of Lies', that I do not envisage that the result will be anywhere as close as the polls and pundits predict, but instead, I foresee a result somewhere approaching a 60/40 victory.
Sadly for Britain.
54-46 in favour of Remain

I think remain will win because the undecided, if they bother to turn up will take the safest route.

I think remain will win because the undecided, if they bother to turn up will take the safest route.
I think that is is very true and that is also an important factor.
I want to be very wrong here as I hope for a 'remain' result.
I do however feel it could be a 'leave' result by no more than 52% to 48%.
As you point out, those so called undecided, still numbering around 11% if they vote will make the difference.
i think leave will win, 60/40

I think it will be 100% leave and then we will immediately strike the largest oil reserve the world has ever seen just off the coast, and also, we will discover that there is a 7-mile-deep crust of solid gold spanning the entire country and the EU won't be able to have ANY of our brexit gold!!! YAS.
Also we will discover the fountain of youth that will not only make everyone immortal, but it will also turn Islamic Extremists into elderly Church of England parishioners. But none of them will claim pensions (because of the Brexit gold). We will strike up lucrative trade agreements with Australia, China and also Mars but no one will be able to move here because we will build a 200-foot-high wall around the entire country made entirely out of gold bars, held together with all of the red tape that we will be able to cut away from our small businesses. And they will be manned by elderly Church of England parishioners and everyone will respect them because of because.
Yay Brexit!

I would guess a very close result with a small victory for Leave. 51 to 49 or 52 to 48. And I assume we won't know the result for sure until the very last results come in.

Remain will win, I think. It'll be close like the Scotland vote was but Remain will come out on top.

Yep we'll remain, all this leave talk is pure bluster.
It's the English way, we moan about the rain in Skegness but every year we go to skegness...
If everything was legitimate and honest, then leave would win by a landslide, but we all know that the EU isn't above board, so I'm not hopeful.

Remain will be the verdict.
I am really disgusted by the conduct of both campaigns and the lengths they are prepared to go to.
I am as far off the grid as i can get but this just makes me more determined to get as far away from the rat race as is possible.

You can't claim it to be a fix because you might be unhappy with the result, that's just major sour grapes. It's a democratic vote.
If Leave wins, I won't be happy but I'm not gonna claim it was rigged, that's just childish.
The people will have their say tomorrow and we will have to accept the outcome either way.

Sadly no, it'll be the same situation as with the US / Australia / Asia etc. with travel completely blocked. Scottish Highlands / The Lakes / Blackpool / South coast holidays forever I'm afraid :(
Wizard.
22-06-2016, 01:09 PM
I predict it to be remain because that's what has been pre-decided - it is fixed. Even the Government said that a referendum is not "legally binding", it is only "advisory" to parliament and therefore does not have to be implemented.

TBF on the more serious side - this is something we do take for granted a bit here in the UK, this isn't the case for most of the world's population. It's actually impossible to know if there will be any travel restrictions associated with changing global status.
That said, it's highly unlikely to affect you being able to go anywhere that you would actually want to go for recreational purposes...

Why would it be a problem travelling for a British tourist? It's the UK, not some random unknown country. I'm living in Asia and travelling to Europe is a piece of cake (and I'm flying abroad about twice a year), the only difficulty is the USA, where you need to apply for a visa...

IMPORTANT
For anyone who TRULY believes in a Referendum result for 'Leave' - LUMP ON THE 11/4 odds being offered by Stan James and most other bookies.
A - depressing - word of caution; the odds for a result for 'Remain' are 1/4 ON.
Bet £4.00 to win £1.00.
This means, that those very astute Bookies - whose very business relies on sound 'insider information' are saying that a 'Remain' victory is 'in the bag'.

Ashleigh was 8/15 on vs manky Helen Wood at 6/1 (on the night) and 16/1 24h before the final.
We do get it wrong sometimes, unfortunately... plus there's not a huge market for politics betting (and usually pretty strict stake limits, due to as you say, insider info) so the bookies don't make a big loss either way, it's considered "novelty betting", along the same lines as "What colour of hat will the Queen wear to Ascot" (a real bet btw :joker: )
I'd have been fairly confident on Leave winning a few days ago, but I'm not as sure either way now

I wrote a detailed post on this very subject Adam, but it was removed for some reason - probably by a pro-EU Mod  - and I cannot be bothered at this late stage to reproduce it, but you are correct; Turkey's accession to the EU is a DONE DEAL.
The British Embassy's website in Ankara boasts of its 'many' dedicated teams who are working to accelerate Turkey's accession into the EU FOLLOWING the agreement made between the Turkish and British leaders in talks.
The amount that the British Government has spent on this so far is OVER £2 BILLION POUNDS.
One might ask, just why our Prime Minister is spending hard-pressed tax payers money on this, in these times of AUSTERITY CUTS, IF - as he swears - Turkey is not going to join the EU for at least the next 4 decades?
Bullshot baffles brains - or so the 'Remain' camp believe.

So be brave and vote 'Leave' to get Great Britain back'' Dumb cow, terror attack can happen whether we Brexit or not. Is this hoe not aware that many terrorist are probably already in the UK, grew up here, were conditioned while here.
I actually fear when the terrorist already here do attack we'd have no support. We'd have to deal with it on our lonesome. Brexit can be a lonely existence after you've stopped obsessing about immigration. .

We demand another referendum? What if the reverse happens and Turkey doesn't join and the economy falters and there is no drop in immigration as it is proven more immigrants come from outside Europe, and that magic 350 million is no where to be seen, you can't demand to rejoin :idc:
