Well I'm glad they've established that a lot of why this vote happened was because of pure and simple racism

A good point from that bloke. A lot of people my age are suggesting older voters shouldn't be allowed to vote but not a lot of young people turned up!

It doesn't matter who established it LT, it's a simple fact. I'm not saying that everyone who voted leave is a racist but I tell you now that every single racist voted leave.

It is neither of those things. It's naive and completely blind to suggest it wasn't.

(dont say "someone said so on QT")

I wasn't going to say that. I'm not an idiot.

I think a large factor of it was right wing parties and media praying on the public's fears and insecurities as well as using one of the most important political votes in British history as an opportunity to throw jabs and shade at each other. Immigration was one of the main selling points to this - leaving the EU isn't going to change that. The fact that since the vote, people from other countries, people of colour have been abused, assaulted, attacked more so than usual is telling in itself.
Leaving the EU has nothing to do with what people thought they were voting for. It was a knee jerk reaction and the vote was based on the wrong information.

Whos evidence, the experts and those with collated stats and supporting material?

Why have anyone in specific positions to inform and advise at all? Mick the plumber would do a better job.

We have only just passed the eve of the referendum so I doubt we are going to be informed just yet.

Cameron and Osborne have disappeared though and thanks to them bailing out so quickly Mondays stock market isn’t going to look very good at all. Oh well, so long as we all remember that's intentional and things will bounce back once negotiations get going.

For the record, in my experience - if tv and other media footage and articles are to be believed - the members of most of the Extreme Right Wing factions in this country, appear be low-life, poorly educated thugs - just the type of people who would not even bother to register to vote, let alone vote.

I don't accept that, and it should be unacceptable, after expecting people to vote for change, there should have at least been a 'basic' plan for afterwards.
Now it is all over can you answer what any plan is.

I have not a single idea, and talking to people who voted both remain and leave yesterday and today, neither have they.

Nothing at all, and now it seems even the leaders of leave, have nothing to say as to any plan either.
Meanwhile in the lack of anything concrete, more resentment is building between the 2 sides and even in Nations that are part of the UK.

The government have no clue whatsoever. The Prime minister has resigned, the chancellor has openly said before this started that he had absolutely no plan for this outcome and not one single politician has actually been able to give an answer of what will actually happen now. Nobody knows - a sign if anything that a second referendum is needed.
