Headlight restoration

My Focus' headlights were very very hazy so today I restored them. Wish I'd taken a before and after.

Wash.
Brush lights hard with lots of course toothpaste.
Wipe clean.
Rub with 1200 grit sandpaper with soapy water.
Dry.
Polish with car polish then buff.

Came up well.

This is the nearside one after I'd scrubbed with toothaste so it was actually a lot worse than in the pic..
