Channel 5 bosses are reportedly "desperate" for Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding to enter Celebrity Big Brother summer 2016.
CBB will be back for a new run in August, and according to The Sun, Sarah is in "advanced talks" to join the line-up.
Bosses hope she'll share gossip about her former bandmates, such as details about former X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and her romance with One Direction star Liam Payne.
However, while the 34-year-old is said to be seriously considering a big-money offer, she is nervous about the pressure of taking part in the fly-on-the-wall reality show.
"Big Brother producers are desperate for Sarah to go into the house," a source said. "She could provide amazing gossip on lots of showbiz types, including her former Girls Aloud bandmates. Anything she says about Cheryl and Liam Payne would make amazing viewing.
"But she’s a sensitive character and spending all that time in the mad house that is Big Brother might just be a bit too much for her. She is going to make her decision in the next few days and CBB bosses are keeping their fingers crossed."
Sarah would bring some star power to the summer edition of Celebrity Big Brother, which usually rates worse than the blockbuster winter edition.
Earlier this year she joined Channel 4's extreme winter sports contest The Jump, but was left "gutted" when she was forced to leave the competition after tearing a ligament in her leg.
Sarah has also recently done a guest stint in Coronation Street, which was panned by viewers, and released her debut solo single Threads
