Ex on the Beach is a reality television series that is broadcast on MTV. The series was first announced in February 2014 and premiered on 22 April 2014.

It features eight single men and women enjoying a summer holiday in paradise whilst looking for love.

However, they were joined by their exes to shake things up. Each ex was there either for painful revenge or to rekindle their love. The show is narrated by Irish comedian Andrew Maxwell.

I wouldn't say it's scripted (Geordie Shore isn't scripted - it's TOWIE/MIC that are) but obviously some of it has to be set up, eg. them acting shocked when their ex turns up when the ex obviously didn't come out of the sea. (Don't know why people still say 'Oh they know their ex is coming they're on Ex on the Beach - they don't deny that their ex is coming just they don't know which one). They're very dramatic.

Series 1 is good. It has Chloe Goodman from CBB15 and Vicky Pattison from I'm A Celebrity. Series 2 I wouldn't bother with, it's not the best but it has Charlotte Crosby from CBB12 if you're a fan. Series 3 is by far the best - it has Megan McKenna from CBB17, Bear from CBB18, Cami Li from CBB15, Kirk Norcross from CBB9 and Vicky Pattison again. It's very dramatic and very funny. Series 4 is okay but I didn't watch much - it has Megan McKenna again, as well as Scotty T from CBB17. And the series currently airing is an 'All Star' series with cast members from the first 4 series' and has Bear and Lillie from CBB18 in it, as well as Chloe Goodman. But if I were you and wanted to get into it, I'd watch Series 3 since it's definitely the best.

My verdict on episode 7 (spoilers) :
-Love Chrysten, even though she is Gaz's sidechick when he created on Lillie. She's blatantly bit of a bitch but can't quite bring herself to be in full bitchy mode as Lillie is too nice.
-Holly is just a skank. Hawley originally used her to make Jemma jealous then ditched her for being a bunny boiling loon after she sucked him off and she comes back for more.
-Had a feeling Jordan would go at some point. Love his delusion on Chrysten
-Looking forward to a Jemma free show now.
-Bear is a fantastic s*** stirrer, fascinating character and entertainer, really liking him again, I'll forgive him for CBB stint as he is rather funny and watchable in EXOTB. He's really dark and psychopathic the way he quietly torments Lillie (despite claiming to like her) by having Gaz give her a lap dance (and kiss in previous episode), then kissing Chrysten himself, he is unbelievably nasty but it's somehow great to watch.

Great episode, this series of EXOTBEACH is the best, even better than #3, in fact it's best reality show so far of 2016.

Once again Bear is the unmissable MVP star of the show **** stiring into others storylines causing others to row, overshadowing so called main star Gaz.
Gaz is a mystery, he has shagged almost all the girls but almost all the other guys are more attractive and interesting

Well, that Melissa may be a stunner but what a spiteful b#stard she is , glad Ash pie her off. Mind you he only he only pied Mel off as Kayleigh was in love with him and wanted to shag him for that reason whereas for Mel it was revenge.
Bear back on form, he's psychopathy really shows in this episode, he used Aimee for sex then for no reason (it was as if he hated that she was a sexually confident young woman) flicked the V-sign when her back was turned before he shamelessly went crawling back to Lillie for forgiveness. He wound Mel up so she then poured tea on Ash. To reiterate Bear is easily the most interesting young reality TV personality around, complicated, insecure and overconfident spiteful, self serving, mischievous, witty, charming and deceitful.
