CBB12's eye was revealed 3 weeks before BB14 final.

CBB10's eye was revealed 10 days before BB13 final.

CBB14's eye was revealed 2 weeks before BB15 final.

I wonder if the rumours of a longer CBB are true, because if this series is launching straight after BB17 then it will probs begin around the 1st August (3/4 weeks earlier than previous years).

It's good though - a little odd that they didn't theme it separately like last year's summer CBB, but I like it.

Last years summer CBB only had its own theme because they launched civilian BB a month early, but left CBB in its same slot meaning there was a month in between for them to do so.

This year it's back to normal, so obviously there's no time for all that, hence why the eye has been revealed 3 weeks before the end of BBUK just like every other year, except last year. I don't see why everyone has a problem with that when it's always been the case

They started promoting BB17 around 4 weeks before launch I think.

Yeah kind of annoying they CBB gets more promotion when BB is the one that needs promoting to get more viewers.

I'm happy to have an extended CBB in January, I always want them to break the previous record, but not at the expense of the civilian version which they just treat like ****

At this rate this CBB will be the same length as this civilian series and that is just a joke

Maybe other people are willing to swallow C5's proverbial ramming of CBB's dick but I'm not, part of the reason it's more successful is because they put more effort into it

I refuse to drink their kool aid, the civilian version is the original and best and no amount of overexposure from the spin off is going to change that

Why not extend Winter CBB? Especially considering the fact more money goes into the show and its last week usually garners more viewers than the previous 2/3. Episodes hit 3 million, like the Lee Ryan eviction. That got 3.6m viewers and days later it was the final.

My issue with BB, CBB, C5 or whoever it may be is that they have such a strong desire for change. They put BB16 early - it flopped. They put the following CBB later - it flopped. They kept BB17 the same (on par with previous series in terms of viewers) yet they've shortened it despite public interaction being fairly positive for a series in recent years to dump a possibly extended CBB that will go in direct competition with the olympics.

Do they possess a brain?! Don't fix what aint broke. And if its broke its because you've tried to bloody fix it!!

Bet that the next announcement will be that the weeknight Live Feed will be back on 5STAR for CBB as well :facepalm:. It's so obvious what Channel 5 is doing here and I'm not happy about it at all.
